Too late, we were up for upgrades this month and have decided to give the EVO 4G a try. I'm a little hesitant to go with Sprint, but willing to give them a shot especially when it will be about 40.00 less than what we pay now with AT&T and we have 30 days to see how it all works out. :)
Where all the Android phones?
Anybody have any news on this? AT&T had stated that they would have 5 by first half of 2010 and so far all they have released is the Moto Backflip. I know that the Dell Aero is another, but that won't be until late June/July which leaves HTC...
Data Plan
I'm a little confused on the data plan because everyone keeps saying that a $10 plan is useable on this, but isn't this a smartphone? And how would this be possible then?

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything more about whether this is coming to AT&T? I'm tired of seeing all these other high end phones going to competitors and AT&T just kind of sitting back and doing nothing.

Unlocked phones work on 3G?
Thinking of picking up the N95, US version, and wondering if it would work on AT&T's network. I read on a thread here that unlocked phones work on EDGE only, any truth to this?

I too, have had the same experience, mostly with corporate stores. It doesn't help either when customers get on this forum with a legitimate complaint and then get blasted with negative attitudes from Verizon employees. All they are doing is proving the point that they don't care about the customer. If you people don"t want to listen to the complaints, then you are in the wrong business.
Everybody bitches about how Sprint cus. care sucks, yet if enough people ...

What I am worried about is the percent that will be taken off the monthly bill from the corp. discount, once I get signed up on it. Plus I want to add unlimited texting for families and didn't see that available, if that is added is that considered changing the plan. It just seems more like a add on to me.

I had planned on staying with them, just didn't know if after buying everything and applying my corporate discount would be considered in anyway of changing anything to them. It would be the same plan and everything, just have the discount applied.

Replacement phone
I am wondering if the refurb phone replacement is just for phones out of warranty. My daughter dropped hers in some water, it will work, just not charge the battery. Any suggestions as to what to do would be helpful. If the only recourse I have is to buy another off Ebay or something, then that's what I'll do.

Hissing background and volume control
I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing a hissing sound in the background when making calls and if there sound is crappy when talking to someone? I have my volume turned all the way down, but sometimes have to ask people to repeat themselves several times because I can't understand them.
I have the latest SW update, I'm just thinking it might be the phone and maybe get a replacement on it? Thanks in advance from anyone with info. ...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that the price of the iphone was what you pay regardless if you sign a new contract or not. There is no 'discount' for a new two year agreement, therefore the 399.99 price for the iphone is full retail.

how did you fix the problem? I'm getting the same thing with mine on t-mobile(us) as well. i'm just wondering if there is an easier way than some of the other solutions i've read(like modding). also if a master reset is done will the phone still work with t-mobile in the us?
