1. i tried 14 headsets there are only 2 or 3 that work Scala 500 sony and original palmone
scala and sony were the winners go to www.treocentral.com that have detailed reviews.
Batteries only original, i bought one but never needed it the original holds for a long time.
car adapter only original. if you need it i sent my back since the battery is awesome

You need to : onthe main scrreen click menu. go to edit favorite buttons , choose the number , then hit more, for delays put commas i usually put ,,,, then pin number :D

Are you trying to listen to the music or trying to make it work as a ringtone?
all you need to do is to install mp3's like you install application. or put it on the sd card
