Question About the PTT...
I just have a simple question about this phone...
I see that the Info sheet on this phone (on the Info tab) that this phone has PTT (Push-To-Talk).
Is this a true PTT phone or is this a phone with Ready Link? Could you actually use this for contacting Nextel customers? Or is this Ready Link (which I think is lame) and not many people I know have Ready Link..

I went to Radio Shack the other day and the guy told me that the whole reason they were re-releasing this phone was to add some expandable memory cause that was the one great feature it lacked and that's the reason why it didn't sell...
I almost SWORE I saw a glimpse of some slot on the phone on the left hand side of it (on Sprint's site) but was "hidden" in the dark by lack of light...

Hey all... I am completely clueless on all this stuff, with the exception of Bluetooth really. I know I can hook my phone up to another bluetooth device such as a BT Headset.

I understand that the whole email thing is text-only, which as you said sucks, but I can go to other various pages and view them in all their HTML glory, but as on some other phones, which are able to "download" a picture or tone by pushing a 'SoftKey', the 8100 does not allow that... ...

STUPID Questions about Mobile Web...

I'll make this quick: I use VZW's Mobile Web (or W.W. -Wireless Web-) and it's getting to a point where some things are just bothering the hell outta me.
I contstantly use it to go online to check things like my e-mail at Yahoo! and MSN. It's beggining to bother me because I'm sick of using it looking at text-only emails. Why can't I use or see HTML emails on my phone and is there ...

In my (personal) opinion... you should also try or go with 96 Kbps. I have songs on my phone at that bitrate and they still sound pretty darn amazing!!!
But I will add that even though its said that anything under 128Kbps sounds bad... (and I agree to some extent) 96Kbps is PERFECT for when you're putting alot of songs on cards like these and you want to put the most amount possible with the least quality lost.

I'm sure everyone here knows about the "hidden" (or maybe not so hidden) menu on the phone... *Menu/OK key... then 0000000*
Anyway, with all this talk of the update (which I have yet to get cause it's not here yet) I wanted to know if there are anymore 'Service Codes' to put there in the phone to activate/retrieve/see or fool around with other hidden features?
