When you're in a call, do you have the option to hit your menu button, scroll to record, and record the conversation? It's listed on their site as not having voice recorder, but the beta version did AND the manual says it does so...

I see the 870 is out and I ordered one but I wanted to know if anyone out there has one can you tell me if you can go to the download phone features menu and get voice recorder? It is not advertized on the web site as having the voice record feature (record notes and phone conversations). No it does not work internationally at all. Only iden 800 band. It's about a hair longer than the i860. I had to cut the bottome of an i860 cover to fit on it. Just a bit though. Not much.

I have no real answer on the release date. Nextel reps say they don't even have a release date. Motorola told me they could not discuss future products. Everyone else is just a wild guess. I've heard anywhere from November before Thanksgiving to February of next year. It's a beauty though. The specs are all over the internet but if you want me to answer any specific questions just ask and i'll check it out and let you know ...

Got it off of ebay of course for an arm and two legs but it was worth it. Can't wait till it really gets released though (can't get it insured or serviced/trouble shooted if anything goes wrong until then) I gotta tell you, I was completely in love and attached to my 860 but this phone blows it away.
