I couldn't find the pricing on Nextel's website - does anyone know how much it costs to buy this with a new 2-yr agreement? - j.
Re: 7130e - phone contact limit
can't be positive, but my guess is that it will hold as many as you have until memory is full (which i doubt would be possible with only contacts). As for syncing with outlook, of course, all blackberry's do once you install the Blackberry Connect software. - j.
Re: data connection on VZW
you are corret - the phone doesn't do a good job disconnecting a data session, thats how verizon gets you. from what i've heard, verizon's treos are the only ones that have this problem. Anyway, what you have to be careful for is when either sending or receiving a picture message. The data connection will hang and you may find a little suprise on your bill. I suggest setting it up so that you only receive picture messages once ...
VZW Upgrade to WM 2003?
Alright, I just ordered one of these off of eBay and I'm not sure if it has WM 2003 installed. It's for Verizon Wireless but as they have discontinued it, the update is no longer available on their website. Does anyone know how I could obtain this upgrade either from VZW or elsewhere? - Justin
Treo 650 or BB 7250
For the people who've used both, which device do you perfer and what are benifets of each? BlackBerry 7250 vs. Treo 650 (not planning on using over-the-network e-mail). - J.
Just a clearification, I am still interested in using this as a phone and for SMS, i just don't want the wireless e-mail and calendar functions, I would simply like to Sync those with my PC via USB. - J.
7250 w/o Wireless
Hey, excuse my stupidity, but I'm a bit of a newbie w/Blackberrys. I was just wondering if it was possible to purchase this without a data plan and turn the Always-On e-mail off if I just wanted to use it to Sync with my PC via USB. I'm looking at this and the Treo 650, but this seems to have much better reviews... - J.
