So they're (allegedly) violating patents for CDMA by selling GSM handsets... yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Could someone explain this, as I have no idea what they're trying to prove here.

It's the 8700, so they're running with EDGE on that one.

The Magic 8-Ball says "maybe".

Nokia uses PoC (PTT over cellular), Cingular's is the Kodiak solution that does it over the GPRS/EDGE network.

SE isn't THAT crazy - but it uses the Memory Stick format. It'll come with a 512mb card and the capacity is up to 2gb, so you PSP owners are lucky. Oh, and SE, you guys owe me a keyboard. I broke one from drooling. :D

Yes, the phone can be used effectively on Cingular. More than likely, it'll come unlocked.

I guess the "exclusive content" is what drives the price up. That, and the 4-month upgrades. Besides, anyone who can afford it will probably pay for it.

Good to see someone take the initiative on producing more powerful batteries. You can talk about video calling all you want, but if the battery dies mid-call, it's pointless.

I haven't seen the specs on the N71, but the N92 is out because of no 850. I'd bet my left nut they'll get the N81 Q3 of next year, though.

I'm tempted to say the 6101/02 for North American markets given how flip-obsessed we are, but I'm probably way off.

Depends on the term of the service agreememnt, but for the most part, US carriers don't impose minute limits if you buy corporate. Agents might have their own rules, so for the love of Goddish, read the contract. I know in Canada (Rogers Wireless), I had 30 days or 30 minutes (or 150kb of data).

Reps: Are you actually doing the survey?
Jun 18, 2005, 6:41 PM
in the AT&T Wireless forum

I'm this || close to a CAP because I didn't do the survey for a few days - and when I did my surveys the other night, it put me OVER that magic number (600) by 15 seconds. So because I was doing my job, I get punished? Am I the only one who finds any excuse possible to get out of the survey?
