I have the Mythic and absolutely love it. I downloaded the PC studio for the Selstice and use the bluetooth from my cell paired with my laptop to transfer data. It works great.

I have found with my 8330 curve that you can not use itunes. took me forever to learn this.

I am thinking of getting one of these VX 6800 or 6900. I have verizon, I really want it for the PDA/phone, and wi-fi. I have a network in my home and all my family members have it in their homes. Do I have to purchase a data package to use the wi fi? Verizon said it would use data and run up my bill if I did. i don't know what to do.

Talking Phone
Can anyone tell me if their talking phone works on their W755?
If you go to sounds and settings, then down to voice readout. You have the choice to either ring only, caller id then ring, or just announce the caller until you answer it.
Also, if you can't find it there, you can touch the voice activation button on the right side of the phone too, then settings. if you click on info, it will tell you that it does ...

Mine won't do it and it is capable. It says it in the phone and in the manual.

I had the same problem just 2 days after I got it. I too had it swaped out that day and it's been fine since. The only other issue I have with the phone, is that I set up to have the phone announce the name of the person or phone number of the person calling before it rings. It's under Sounds, then voice readout. you can have it do that. It's also told that in the manual.

no, it's not just you. I have contacted Motorola, tech support for Verizon and have been to the main verizon store to see if they had software updates. I was told that Motorola dropped the ball and forgot to include that when they made the phone. They put the access to it, but didn't have the software for it. The guy said they will probably come up with a software patch for it. I hope so.
Motorola W755 Talking caller ID
I just purchased the Motorola W755 in the Black. It states in the manual that is has the talking caller ID. If you have this phone, it's on page 36. Also page 41. They state that you can set the phone to say who is calling before it starts ringing, if you have the person in your contact list. It's called caller ID Alert.

Can someone please help me with a question about my new Motorola W755. The manual says it has the talking phone. Where I could set the phone to announce with caller Id Alert then ring. I set it that way, but when I call it, it just rings, it doesn't announce who is calling first.

Listening to music with bluetooth headset
My son in law has the Motorola RIZR Z3 through T-Mobile.
He can use mine and his bluetooth headset to listen to his music. I have the Motorola H800 headset and we paired it to his phone and it worked.
I went and got the Motorola Z6 for Verizon so that I would be able to do the same thing.

I found away of doing it. Go to freeringers.net create a user name and Id. It will explain how to send your mp3's to your phone for ringtone use. you will have to cut it down to less than 30 sec. then you text it to yourself from the website. I had this same problem when I first got mine, then I found out that you have to format the micro chip first, before you put your songs on it.
It's easy to do, just put it in the adaptor, then into your pc. Right click on it in my computer and click on format. Yes, you will lose the songs you have put on there, but after you format it and put the songs back on, you should be ...

I had the same problem. First if you have windows Vista, it's not compatible yet. April is the month for the updated driver for this.
Second, you do have to reboot your phone, power off the phone then unplug it from the pc, then plug it back into the pc and power the phone back on.
Before you do any of this, uninstall everything you installed from the disk..After Motorola told me you don't need to install the disk for the ...

I had the same problem.
Do you have Windows Vista? This was my problem. the software that comes with it for the drivers, only supports Windows XP.

If you have Windows Vista, not to worry, I spoke with Microsoft and Motorola the other day and they said in April they will have the driver update for KRZR to work with Vista.
You can always call Verizon customer service as well, tell them what operating system you have and they will let ...

I had the same problem you're talking about. I called Verizon and found out that I had to format the memory chip first. To do this, open up my computer after you have the chip in the adapter and plugged into your SD drive. When you see the SD in my computer, right click on it, scroll down and click on format.
Follow the directions.
You will lose your songs, but you will be able to put them back on easy ...

Same here, I live on the Eastern Side of Washington State and the guys from Verizon said they are due to get the shipment in on Tuesday for their release on Friday the 15th.
