Excellent, I think that we are on the same page with most of the issues that we have discussed. If we disagree on something as mondane as the term "PC sync" I feel that we are pretty close to agreement with this device in many ways.

The phone has PC sync software stored in the phone's memory and it is installed during the connection of the sync cable to the computer. I only mentioned this as a correction because this is considered a PC sync device. Sure it can't be synced to do as much as a smart device can but it certainly can be synced for a lot of reasons. For my next bit, this could be a misunderstanding between you ...

Re: Q about insurance??

insurance through lockline is by far the way to go if you're not careful with your phone. One thing to note though, you can only use it to replace your phone 2 times a year, after that you're too much of a liability and they will drop you. Obvously I would only recommend any insurance on expensive phones. As a Sprint RSS I can say that we are pretty generous with warrenty issues.

Please understand that with a SIM card you have a greater chance of theft. If you take Sprint for example, you steal one of their phones, Sprint flaggs the ESN and the phone is rendered practically useless for the intelligence of a theif.

That opinion was based on facts alone, it litterally has the most features for a flip phone. Combined with Sanyo's JD Power award winning status for customer satisfaction, I've gotta say it is the sweetest flip on the market right now.

Okay, well I appologize to the author for the critisism. On the flip side of my opinions expressed in my first entry, the article had a lot of correct information. It only bothered me that the article had incorrect facts about the device on such a popular website.

Indeed it would be nice to be able to store ringtones and other downloads relating to "My Content Manager" on the mini SD, however you have to look at it from another prospective; if you were able to do that, everyone would be sharing their downloads and it would cost Sprint a lot of money. As for managing the files, yes I do agree that it would be a lot better if you could do all of that ...

Article Correction!

in the Article: Review: Sanyo MM-5600 forum

That article wasn't that impressive. Just reading through it once I noticed two important flaws in the author's description of the phone. First of all the author mentioned that the phone could only be turned up or down with the arrow keys on the side of the phone, this is not true. Secondly and most importantly, the author mentioned that the phone could not be synced with a PC, that is funny because the phone actually ...
