im sure if you did a little snooping around you could find the settings for true cingular users

no it wont because verizon uses the cdma band and this phone is an unlocked phone for the gsm band. as far as i know verizon doesnt even have sim cards, thats a gsm thing
problem w/ MMS settings
hey, ive been trying to set up my phone w/ the ATT MMS settings for a long time. i go to the cingular support site and it sends me the message and all that. but then it says it exceeds the number of profiles allowed and i cant add it. anybody know how to fix this. thanks in advance.

2. press menu key
3. select "pictures setup" (towards the bottom)
4. Go to Shutter Tone and select that
5. Change shutter tone from whatever you have chose to none, and that should fix it

yeah when you go into the phonebook you press the menu button then go to the bottom of the menu, pres setup, and were it says view, change it from all contacts to primary contacts. after this you can add multiple numbers onto the one you set as the primary. these entries do however need to be saved to the phone

for the question about the internet and multimedia settings theres a link i put in my earlier response where you can go and it will send the settings for your multimedia/internet stuff right away its really simple. as far as calls and text messaging those work right after you put ...

ok im 99% positive that this phone isnt gonna make it to the US which sucks.
yeah, you can just put your sim in and all your features will be available. all you need to do is go to http://secure.mouse2mobile.com/clients/cingul ar/ota/configuredevice.asp to get your internet/mms message settings, which the website sends to your phone

for the answer to the previous post... yes that does work. secondly i have a v635 its very strange although it does say mpeg 4, it cannot play mpeg files nor does it record them in those formats. they do play .3pg files, you can get a converter so that you can watch files on your phone

yeah the v635 is definently compatible for tmobile. i have it for att and all i had to do was download the web settings (in your case t zones) from a web site. everything else is fully functionable right after u put ur sim in

yes, i have this phone and i do watch videos on my phone. however, you're going to need to download a converter off limewire or somewhere else. these phones play .3pg files and your simpson's episodes are .mpeg files. i use nokia multimedia converter and it works great.

is there any way to transfer my games from my v505 to my v635. i know they both use java and im sick of paying those damn data transfer fees. TIA

Re: Verizon has locked the files - you must pay to get pictures off the phone via their network.
if 2 people both have e815's and wanted to exchange pics could they just exchanged TF cards and copy the files to the phone memory?
