i think they may get them but if u send to a non-vz phone, u won't get the little checkmark telling u that they got it.
i thot the same thing (they weren't getting them) cause they dont get the little checkmark. but i asked the recipients and they said they get them ok.
a vz rep said to me "i don't know why anyone checks those anyway"

my phone will freeze and show a little hourglass on the screen when i go to use the camera or video, then says 'no service' then goes to full signal stregnth. SO FRUSTRATING
when replying to a text message...
is there a way to avoid the next screen which displays the phone number? i dont need this screen and don't understand why we have to have it. If i'm replying to someone, of course it is the same number that it came in on!
i tried checking show only primary numbers in the menu but it did nothing

Auto-deleting messages
no matter what setting i choose (keep 1 day, keep 20 messages etc...) when my in/outbox gets full it just shows me warnings. i have to go in and delete them myself.
So i was wondering if this is just me or if no one can have their old messages automatically deleted.

this happened to me too, but i got help in HoFo. I'm sorry but i forget exactly where but it was in the post that explains how to perform the hack... just keep reading messages til u find it. Mine works GREAT now :wink:

Is it just me, or is the battery meter difficult to tell when its discharging? Mine is green (suppose everyone's is too) but when one bar gets reduced, it turns a slightly paler shade of green - almost undecipherable to me...
anyone else have trouble telling it apart?

I bought an extended battery on ebay, the serial # says its for the 710, but i am using it on my 815 (along with the bigger battery cover.) I got 3 full days of calls and txt/pix/flix messaging. I am very happy with it. :D :D :D

Thanx for all the great input folks :wink: my friend is up for NE2 next month and doesn't care what phone she uses so she is letting me pick one and i'll give her my 815 (if i decide to) i like the 815 but hate the photo gallery and how it puts the pics u most recently took after the older ones.
that plus those stupid animations are incorporated with the pix i take. STOOOOPID!!! ...

i had an LG VX8000 which i LOVED, but had to get it serviced 3 times, so they let me get a new phone. Alas, there were no more 8000s to be had so i settled for the 815. doesn't feel as solid as my 8K but the signal stregnth is much better for some reason...

is there a setting to just open the flip and read the txt without having to press 'read' ? my 8000 was able to do this. i love this phone and how customizable it is, but i think they missed this one...
