I've got one
And must say it's very good.
Nor perfect...Samsung A-900 has better features, but is bulkier.
And cost is not inexpensive.
But looks, camera, mp3s and weight make it hot.
Re: Sound
Wow...many thanks.
Now if I can only figure out how to use it!!
Re: Sound
Thanks, Roaz. I immediately went to MP3Gain but unfortunately it's Windows only, doesn't support my MacG5.
I appreciate your helping.
Re: Sound
Even in my office, it's perhaps a 4 of 10 on a normal sound scale at its highest. I guess you're saying that's as good as it gets?
Sound
Absolutely love this phone BUT...even with the Master Volume at its highest, the audio from my mp3s is almost impossible to hear without earphones. At its highest level, it sounds like two on a scale of ten of volume.
Is there a way to fix this? Or do I just have a faulty phone?
Help very much appreciated.
Re: I've actually got the phone...
Nope...the one I purchased was $600.
Re: I've actually got the phone...
I bought it from the website:
www.wirelessimports.com
They are expensive, but I found them very professional and reputable.
Battery Charge
How long does it take to fully charge the battery, please?
Re: 9800 to e815
If you go that route, the Sanyo MM-5600 beats the Motorola e815.
That said, I strongly disagree with your assessment. Cellphones are a major avocation...I get many to test.
The VX-9800 rocks!
Re: 9800 or wait for RAZR?
Add me to this list too. My razr is sitting in a drawer.
The razr wins on looks and weight.
The 9800 wins on EVERYTHING else.
Re: LG VX-9800...Where to purchase?
In the Bay Area, it's at the least available in the Verizon store in Corte Madera.
Re: WHAT BUGS HAVE YOU FOUND?
Truly.
But you need a bit of patience to discover it bit by bit.
Re: Menu screen
Thanks, Shiva...great tip!
Re: mini SD card
Thank you Cellsman....it works perfectly!
Much appreciated!!!
mini SD card
I have songs on the miniSD card I used with the Sanyo MM-5600.
I took the card out and put it into this new phone.
But now when I try to play them on the VX-9800 it says there are none on my card.
Could anyone show me how to play them on the VX-9800? I love this phone!
Re: I've actually got the phone...
Many thanks for replying, but I finally figured it out.
Actually, you push down right below the middle silver part and it pops open.
I've actually got the phone...
but something is frustrating. I know it's a prototype, but I can't figure out how to pop it open. Allegedly you push the right silver button, but there's no give.
Anyone else have it who can help?
Re: blackberry 7100 or 7290????
I've tried both and for me it's a slam dunk. Go with the 7290.
The 7100 is nervewracking. Yes, there are some who have no problem with two letters per key, but I found it frustrating.
If all you really want is a phone with light email backup, ok, go with 7100.
But if you are mostly interested in email/pda, you'll be far happier with the 7290.
