Re: What on this phone
What constitutes price is called competition. The competition sells similar high end devices in the same price range. So in the end if Brand "X" sell a device for $1050.00, and Brand "Y" sells a device for $1100.00, then it’s a matter of which features/OS look appealing.
It’s amazing that in the world of high end devices, that there is debate over minuscule price differences.
Is a folding screen necessary?
I’ve been using smartphone devices for years without the need for a folding screen. If I wanted a bigger screen with mobility, I would have purchased a tablet with mobile data capabilities. This seems silly, and possibly a huge design issue (Wasn’t this tried earlier this year with bad results?). If you want a cool folding phone, design one looking like a paper fan.
Shocking price?
In the world of high end smartphones, the iPhone XS Max is right in line with other premium devices of similar quality. If a customer is looking to spend 800 to 1000 dollars on the competition, then how is 1100 dollars "shockingly high"?
Re: This can not stand....
Wait, hold on here. So I can get an Android phone for less than 10% of an iPhone X? And have almost 95% compatibility, with no FREE updates? Wow.
Re: iPhone X takes us to the next level of smartphone, while Eric is stuck in the android trap!
I haven’t visited PhoneScoop in several years. It’s disheartening to see it become pro Android. If you like Android, then buy it. Enjoy the multi platform, almost 95% compatibility, with zero opportunity for FREE upgrades. Bashing another brand simply because they don’t like what they offer is hardly keeping it honest.
Nice, Pro Android, review...
So you want the IPhone X to be more along the lines of Android? Then review an Android phone. I can buy a Samsung phone for $950.00, but $1000.00? That’s way too much. Seriously? Complaints over a $50.00 difference?
Let’s look at it this way. Android phones (many models available) very nice phones. But the same OS is used on different manufacturers devices. iOS is on Apple, period. That lends itself to better hardware to software interplay. Perfect? No. ...
Re: Nokia 1208
Totally agree. I am experiencing a shortened battery life. Perhaps its a setting I did. Otherwise this is all the phone I need. :D
