I think that other guy was just poorly informed and assumed most all cell phone batteries required conditioning; I SHOULD HAVE SAID! Hope he read from those aricles in the URL links because if he is been doing that he might have cut down on the life of his battery and won't know it untill he ends up having to recharge a lot.

Thanks goes out to sammy2 for making the links available for a 100% FACTUAL representation of the battery and it's limitations to strengths. I think that other guy was just poorly informed and assumed most all cell phone batteries were like his. LoL

I have to agree with you on that skorpyo31 Its wearisome to some degree to have to re-educate yourself again and again into the new world of technical modification (hacking) just to make your way thru to the capabilities that that some at the very least should be freely available by default.

BTW, after recording it, are you able to freely move your 3 minutes video clip from off the T/F onto your PC without any problem? Thanks.

3 minutes is more than enough for me, that's for sure: Thanks for sharing that. 15 seconds is a complete joke IMO. Why even bother LoL

Mine experiences the same distortions as mentioned by billy_b_adass. I already cut the box to pull the UPC label for the MIR, but first chance i get going to get to a VZW store and do some comparisons. The headset speaker on this one is horrible and now the Speakerphone is exhibiting issues i can do without. Overall this IS a truly great feature-filled phone but someone's (Motorola?) quality control is highly suspect.

From what i gathered so far from VZW tech-support people i talked with we may be waiting for quite some time. They still mention it's in experimental stages at those test markets where it IS available. My guess, and this only a hunch right now, is that Verizon is preparing their nationwide grid for what we eventually will see as "Live" cable TV being channeled to their towers onto VZW phones. As things stand, no live video feeds are available, ...

Thanks for the links :) Looks like heat is the enemy of the E815 since it uses this type of battery. :A FEW NOTES I FOUND OF INTEREST: Depending on the state-of-charge and storage temperature, lithium-based batteries have a typical lifetime of 2-3 years (longer if partially charged and kept cool). The speed by which lithium-ion ages is governed by temperature and state-of-charge High charge levels and elevated temperatures hasten permanent capacity loss. Some reserve charge is needed to keep the battery ...

Theres no reason whatsoever why those others of us who read these see-saw opinions you guys post like on the battery conditioning matter should have to at the end of the Topic still not be 100% confident in your reports, so i propose this: In order to make this concern abundantly clear for all with the "pure" facts, why not post a URL directly from the battery manufacturer for us all to confirm exactly what IS the proper procedure for ...

100 miles from the nearest Vcast service but understand it's only in test markets right now. (may expand if found prodective for them) Since E815 NO MORE LOST CALLS! OR POOR RECEPTION! Call your VZW rep ot tech support and have them pinpoint the nearest towers for you in miles: Mine was 4 miles (range much further) I live as far out in the boonies as one can get in a manner of speaking, and am on my second All-Digital wireless (other ...

Well, i read many posts where modifications are to "enable" more or better bluetooth capability for the v710 and now E815 Moto. I not going to add a USB dongle or Headset for that matter and was just wondering why all the hype over bluetooth.

VERIZON service is without question the absolute VERY BEST!!! Not just because i am a long time time customer, or maybe it is. :) SPRINT cust serv. always evaded me when i needed them most back when i had service with them. I done critical express shipment deliveries like FedEx for a different expedite business. Having customer service respond in a timely fashion is absolutely paramount in that line of work; they never did: Same eventually happened with AT&T ...

I guess mine is one of those that doesn't exhibit that behavior. I am also coming from LG series that i couldn't wait to get out from under. I'm sorry LG users but IMO they suck. Dropped calls, heating up too often, once shocked my ear while in use. It was like being held for ransom with LG's with me. By contrast, my brand new E815 right-out-of-box sings a perfectly different tune and everything is more than satisfactory, it is ...

Then there is always a chance in this day and age that certain high agencies of this land (FCC) and various(Legislature Groups) will receive with much attention these and other consumer complaints and will step up to meet this injustice then force a long needed correction before it has a chance to progress any farther then it already has to this point.

by wnrussell Today, 6:25 PM You are preaching to the choir. Thanks for the link btw. The more and better informed i (and many others) become on this this single matter alone, the gloomer the prospects appear that VZW will ever adhere to advancing it's consumer base thru simple cooperation of providing us with the FULL compliment of tools (innovation)already available to make the most use of both their (wireless cell) service (equipment) and the technologies that we ...

After reviewing several articles in that past few days and from recent experience I find myself bitterly disappointed at VZW while at the same time humbly indebted to the founders of this excellent website for providing the needed and neccessary grounds to make accurate assessments & comparisons a reality and not something imagined or fictitious. Thank You. NO! It is NOT! good business practice nor is it practical in this Information/Communications Age whereas the Space age has preceeded before ...
