Or waiting for the rollout of push to talk at the end of October, since the 6682 will support it.

I've read in HoFo that Cingular is waiting for the rollout of PTT, since the 6682 will support that. End of October, I think.

But according to Engadget, it's going to be only 100 songs in your pocket

So that's really not quite the same, is it? http://www.engadget.com/entry/12340002 00056593/

The Verizon rep at the store told me that Radio Shack is selling "tester" units, presumably meaning they have been used. I don't know if that is true or not, perhaps one of the Verizon folks I've seen on this forum knows the answer to that. Or someone who works for RS.

I've become accustomed to looking to PhoneScoop to be THE source for info. And to be the tie breaker when different sources have differing information. I guess I'd rather have complete and accurate info than fast info!

No MPX220 on Phonescoop?

The info is out there, Brighthand and a few others have reported it and Motorola finally acknowledged it. I'm shocked that Phonescoop doesn't have it on the site yet. :o

Also, Brighthand lists the weight at 100g. I didn't read the Moto press release. I wonder which is accurate.

Find anywhere for less $?

I'm not looking to replace my PDA entirely (as there still isn't a perfect device out there) so I'm not keen on spending an additional $500. Has anyone seen this out there for less? I'd swear I saw it on letstalk.com for less but can't find it there now. Thanks,

according to Phonescoop V600 doesn't do MP3's or have an expansion card. :? I've tried Cingular in the central and north-eastern NJ areas and the coverage was just OK (not as good as VZW of course), but that was about 6 months ago and they might have since improved. I tried them for the SE T616, which I liked, but they didn't support half of its features such as extended text messages, email, etc. They might now.

Sorry, it's actually on the HowardChui homepage, not the forums

:?

HoFo has blurb about 710, says end of second quarter. Same for Nokia 6255

No indication of where the info comes from. Phonescoop has the 6255 as 4th quarter.

And you know for certain it will not be released on Friday? How is it you know this?

And what sources would those be, exactly? You are no more credible than anyone else if you won't cite your source. I doubt Motorola is encouraging its employees to universally give out the date of May 21st in order to create 'buzz' about the product. It does not serve them well to irritate the early adopters as these are the people that give that spend top dollar on their new products.

Compare feature??
Oct 20, 2003, 12:07 PM
in the phonescoop.com forum

It's entirely possible this has been addressed, but without a search feature I have no way to look for the answer. What happened to the compare feature? This was one of the most useful things on this site. Is it still here somewhere and I just can't find it?
