everybody is arguing about when this phone will or will not come out, all i have to say about the matter is that cingular will do to this phone just like they did the the s710. they will wait to release it and make everybody very inpatient. i went ahead and bought mine on-line, and i probably paid the same as a person on cingular would with new or upgrading service! sometimes being patient is not a virtue.
funky error on v635
i recently purchased the v635 and am very happy with it, but i noticed a weird little thing wrong with the programing. when i go into the menu>personalize>wallpaper it boots me out the previous screen. though i can still change my wallpaper through my media option, i was wondering if anyone else was having the same problem and how it can be corrected.

yes tigerdirect.com worked well for me also i now have the phone through them and everything went through pretty well. the price of the phone was $339.99 plus shipping, and depending how quick you want it. i got the phone, usb, cd, earpieces, charger, and manual(german). pretty good deal for a brand new phone megapixel phone.

problems or no problems i can not wait around for cingular to make up there mind so i have already ordered the v635 from tigerdirect.com for $339.99 plus $24.95 for second day shipping, not a bad deal. cingular seems to find a problem with every phone, take for example the a630 and s710. cingular likes to hold out on releases if ever releasing the phone at all. reasoning behind this is unknown but the excuse i always seem to ...

fix the problem with a good ol' dose of cingular in your diet. they do not blcok nearly as many of the bt features.

the phone and plan are just put together, the v635 is not available through cingular yet. there are only offering you a discount because they are making money off of the service agreement, and that is why they give you less of a discount on the migration, because they don't make as much money off of that sale. att/cingular are now one and moving between them is like upgrading not like starting new service. 8)

Frequencies for v635
i was looking to buy the 635 for myself but a i hads a major concern, the 635 works off of the 800/900/1800/1900 frequencies but att works off of the 850/1900 freequencies. my question to everybody is if this phone will work for att well or will i be lacking coverage that i have know?
