You cannot send anything directly from your pc to your cell phone according to the person I talked on the phone @ Verizon. They said customer's where getting spam & viruses so they put the kabosh to it. You can put them on www.vzwpix.com (need to sign up there) & drag pix from you pc to your vzwpix acct. Our you could get a reader for your micro S card, hook it to your pc & put in on the card & ...

It's a upgrade to your phone spec's. Take it to a Verizon dealer & they will do it for no charge.

You need to download QuickTime 6.5 to your pc. It should have a link towards the bottom of the vid you sent. Good Luck! Greg.

Verizon told my brother that the NE2 $100 credit going away in Feb or March unless you have a $79.99 plan or higher. Less than that plan's you will only recieve $50 credit for NE2. You might want to ask @ your local Verizon store. Greg.

Phone says video is too large to send.

I've taken a few 15 sec vid's with my 8300 now & had no problem sending them. But I recently took one & it says "it's too large to send please try another". The kb on this particular vid is 192 all the other's are in the high 170's or low 180's kb. All have been recorded in 15 secs, not sure why this one is larger than the rest of them. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I do not have a micro-card ...

How Many Bars Is Full Signal?
Aug 20, 2006, 5:54 PM
in the LG VX-8300 forum

Just got the 8300 & am going to test-drive it for the next 2 weeks to see how it performs, upgrading from the 6100. My question is how many signal bars are there in max reception, does the 1X count for a signal? I've seen 1X & no bars & it still worked. Thanx, Greg.

FYI, Verizon has just released version 4 software upgrade for the 6100. No big changes, just keeping up with the PRL so they told me.

Go into your sounds, go to service alerts & turn off the ERI sounds.

Rob_277, What software version is your phone on? If you are having prob's with the volume bug deal you probably need the upgrade which was version 2. There is a version 3 out currently but not sure if you need to have 2 installed before 3 but I would guess so. Call Verizon & they will take care of ya. Greg.

I had my 6100 software updated today to the 03 version. They told me that it will make your phone perform better. No big changes like the 02 version was with the volume-bug issue. You stated your ERI is now 50018, did you mean the PRL? My ERI remains a 3, but my PRL (preferred roaming list) is 50295. You can update your PRL by dialing *228 & using option 2. The PRL over-the-air update's are made approximately every 3-4 weeks. Greg.

I leave mine on high resolution. It's only 2X zoom but the clarity will be the best is that mode than the other's.

You can use the memo option on your phone (ability to record up to 4 minutes of memo). Then use options and set it as your ringtone.
