Anyone using the Samsung A670? I lost my Nokia 6255i and am looking to try the Samsung model for a replacement. Anyone have any pros or cons about this puppy? Thanks! G.

I agree with JJ...the service is good if you are the Bay Area and Sacramento area. But if you travel, go with another service I live in San Jose and don't travel that much, but have been happy with my service for about 3 years now. If you do go with Metro...get a nice phone, like the Nokia 6255i ... the reception is always great and the features are awesome. btw...dj doesn't know what he's talkin' ...

thanks for the info Fith!! I just went to store to check it out and the quality wasn't all that =( It felt very plasticky, like a toy or something? Anyways...how about the Samsung a670...got any advice on that one? That phone actually felt good and had some wieght to it much like the 6255i did; quality! Thanks again! G.

Anyone using the Motorola V262? I lost my Nokia 6255 (DANG IT!) and am looking to replace it with the Motorola if someone has some good feedback using it with Metro service. Thank you fellow Metronians! G.

Thanks Tech!! I finally got my 6255...and as McKeeDees would say... lovin' it"! This is one how phone and worth every penny! Today got a USB Bluetooth dongle (IOGEAR's Bluetooth to USB Adapter from Fry's - $30) downloaded the Nokia pc suite and started transferring midi, jpg, and gif files to the phone. I actually got a gif file to animate as a main or mini wallpaper - too cool! 8) I did have trouble transferring a 2meg ...

Oh man...I'm soo jealous :o !! I'll be placing an on-line order this week for one myself - can't wait!! Quick question about the 8910 - how do (did) you like it ? pretty good phone for the price? I'll be upgrading my wife's phone as well and was looking at the 8910 for her - upgrading from an older Kyocera 1155. She's not big on features, but reception (Bay Area) is more important for her. Thanks again!! G.

yeah...I plan doing just that, but just thought I'd ask from an actual customer with it in use. I'm looking to get one for myself by the end of the week - I'll pitch in my 2 cents when I get a chance - thanks though! G.

Out of curiosity, I went into a Fremont store to look at the new Audiovox 8910 - b/c I'm lookin' to swap phones - then asked the sales rep if there would be any new phones coming out, then she showed me a faxed copy of the 6255i....sweet ass phone!! The only thing she could tell me that was coming out sometime late this month. I then later called Metro asked them too...they too told me the same ...
