I do not know what you people think you are talking about in reference to "gangsters using multiple SIM cards in an effort to elude law enforcement". I work in the telecom industry...and no matter how many SIM cards you use, the handset you use has to register with the network which in turn notifies the system of your location. So stop talking all of this garbage.....you are wrong...so wrong....oh yes.......and wrong. That is all...

Re: Since when is stainless steel a "luxury metal"???

Ummmm...I think you are missing the point on this phone. If you have the money to spend on a phone that is $800...then you ARE looking for a status symbol!!! That is what this phone will be. If you can afford stainless steel and ball bearings in your handset, then you are a connoisseur. And I hate to tell you....but this phone works very well. I played with one the other day. I have not felt a handset that ...

I played with one of these the other day. I believe you are referring to the TDMA 8860. I can tell you right now that this phone is MUCH better then the 8860. This handset is solid feeling. I have not felt such an early version of a handset which felt as solid as this one. And who cares if it was an updated version? You could really say that any new phone is an updated version of something!!!! The ...

Re: Lack of Quad-Band GSM phones

Price point buddy....by adding the necessary components, SW, R&D work to perfect the quad-band handsets...you end up spending too much. This extends your price point for the handset, which in turn reduces the appeal. The only reason it will affect the RF performance is through SW issues. Getting 4 RF receivers tuned and in-sync is difficult to do (in respect to releasing a product in a reasonable amount of time.) Basically...it all comes down to the mighty dollar.

You said it right there bnz300. Nokia did miss the boat on the "flip" scene, but looks like they are going to get aboard. I would not expect anything too "crazy" from them too soon as far as flips go. They are new to this territory...and I am sure they would like to avoid falling on their face. :) Besides....can there BE any more flips out there!!!???? Nokia has been in the business from the get-go....they know what ...

:) I have the 6670...and I love it. I use every aspect of the SW package. The converter, MMS, calculator, BT, voice recognition...I will stop there. The keys might be a little small...but what it laks in the size of the key mat it makes up for in function. (Not to mention I like the look of the keys.) I just love the personalization option with Series 60 Platform. I am a Theme JUNKIE!!!!!!!!!

I have played with this phone, and it is cool. Having a flash on a camera phone is nice. (It is only LED drivern, but still a great feature.) It fits nicely in my hand, and is comfortable to use.
