The latest K232/322 Design
Sorry, but KWC just designed a phone that reassembles the old Motorola pager from the 80's. Start thinking 'outside the box' and deliver quality phones that will meet market demand.
THE LATEST
Deliver a true quality phone with the features that market requires..it truly begs the question. Shortly after release their phones are discontinued due to lack of demand.
BETA./ DELTA TESTING
Phone failing miserably in Beta. Remember the protocol: Critical=nonship, Major=business decision, Minor= transparent to the end user. Will Verizon ever see one..it remains to be seen.
Re: chunky
I agree with you. It's not only chunky it's junky!
Re: No EVDO & Bulky
Strangly enough..this thread is starting to smell a little fishy..sanity check in order!
RMA Process
Is the RMA process in place. I hope so, get ready for the next tidal wave of returns!
Re: why?
Because their complete idiots. They need to learn to focus on customer requirements, forget about flashlights. If I need a flashlight, I'll go to home depot
Tentative Release Date
Very Tentative..don't hold your breath. KWC can't even get it through Beta/Delta testing for release. They may push it through to meet a deadline, but the consumer will be the one to suffer with all the design flaws.
When will KWC
Deliver a true quality phone with the features that market requires..it truly begs the question. Shortly after release their phones are discontinued due to lack of demand.
Key Features
MISSING..no ringer profiles, no video capture and Oh yes..let's not forget about the Flashlight
Nice!
Wow, how cool..now you can wear your new Kyocera bluetooth sunglasses..yes sunglasses to work with the K323/K322.

Bulky phone without EVDO capability. Looks like my old pager
Re: help

"Got this phone 3 months ago, i did a little research on it and thought it looked like a good buy. The only things that were good about the phone was the clear screen and pictures, and the good service. Some of the bad things were- The mp3 sounds very bad if you listen to it outload. Mine shutdown all the time, if it closed the slider to fast it would shut down also. You cant record things and ...
Another Wonderful Review
"The Jet is the first phone available from Amp'd Mobile, so it is all very new. As can be expected, there are some glitches. For example, out of the box the Amp'd Live feature (Amp'd's live/streaming media portal) does not work. Tech support is very friendly and assures me this will be fixed but at this point I cannot try out all the phone's features.
The hardware itself looks very stylish. The case is plastic which feels a little cheaper ...

CNET Review
Yet another bad showing for the Strobe. CNET reviews were poor with direct quotes below.
The bad: The Kyocera Switch Back is bulky and has a cumbersome design. It suffers from poorly designed buttons and controls, as well as a tiny external display.
The bottom line: We had some serious design complaints with the Kyocera Switch Back, but the QWERTY keyboard, may work for some if your fingers are small enough.
Innovation at its best!
Excellent phone..great job!

Need a phone with a great camera?
Here you go another wonderful review- "The Camera is just average so if you want a nice camera phone go with something else".
Go with the LG9100 or Sidekick3. Great for messaging & the camera works well.
The latest reviews
The latest reviews on the Strobe call it the "Switchback to middle-ages" It begs the question..Why??
If you really need to text on a device go with the wonderful Sidekick3 or LG9100. Excellent phones, great for messaging and even include Bluetooth.
Re: Hate to say it, But T-Mobile To Go is probably a Better Deal
DO THE SMART THING AND STAY WITH T-MOBILE. VIRGIN MOBILE JUST PLAIN SUCKS!
Re: Any new phones coming?
The Strobe is coming..what a joke!
SwitchBack available through Virgin Mobile
Word of advice, Virgin mobile offers the worse wireless service available. Now, couple that with the Switchback and you'll get what you pay for.
Stick with the best T-Mobile,Cingular, Verizon.
Here's why:
If you compare rates T-Mobile To Go
(T-Mobile's prepay service), Virgin is considerably more expensive in most cases. Virgin's rates end up working out to 15-20 cents a minute for most folks, while with T-M To Go, if you're willing to buy minutes in $50 or $100 chunks, ...
Great phone!
Excellent Phone..Highly Recommend!
Re: Camera not working properly
Camera quality seems to be an ongoing complaint with this phone. You may have better luck if you swap the phone out for a Nokia or Motorola in the same price range. Much better quality pictures with these particular phones.
Problems with your slider?
Do you know why? Because the design is not only flawed, but it's not reliable.
The Switchback is coming out soon. But, my recommendation is to go with the Sidekick3 or LG9200 if you want to conduct any type of messaging on a quality device.
Well..At least the keyboard is ergonomic

Re: Fact
That's why you work for USCC, you can't even spell. You're obviously an illiterate, so I'm not even going to waste my time with you since you don't have a clue. When learn to spell, and get a real job selling quality phones like the LG's, Samsung's, Nokia's & Moto's of the world, then you can try and enter my forum.
Get the latest & greatest or Swichback to the middle-ages
No Bluetooth is included with the KX21, making it the ideal cheap-ass phone for pre-paid. Pure Trash!!
Great Phones Available
Just an FYI~ if you're in the market for a great phone with a keyboard, then take a look at the SideKick3, or LG's 9200.
Rave reviews, Great Product!
Another Wonderful Review
Yet, another wonderful review for the "switchback to middle ages" I don't write the reviews, I just report them.
Let the end users decide like this one did.
