I believe there is an option on the settings for the dialer, once you have your XV6700 on modem mode, you can select the speed you wish to use, mine connects to the maximum speed I think is around 920kb? something like that, HTH. A

Yes, I had as many others have posted, if you remove the SD card the phone wakes up or with a soft reset as well, it has to be another solution...thanks for your reply though...

After purchasing the XV6700 from Verizon and getting the Rom upgrade, I still experience the dark screen of dead (DSOD) :? :? , I wonder if I had to do a Hard reset after installing the Rom upgrade or what? Has Anyone experience this problem, what are your solutions, please advice. TIA

I have my i700 for several years now, its been a learning experience.....for some reason the sound of the phone dies, thanks to the extended warranty one call takes care of that, but is seems to me that the earpiece plug-in has something to do with it, I use a Bluetooth adapter, (I wish Samsung had installed one in the phone!)...when it is taken out to be recharged it leaves "something" pressed inside the jack hole that makes the ...

Hi Georgeo75, you need to have a player that supports PLS/M3U such as GSplayer, etc... the Media Player that came installed with the i700 is not able to play this files. Once you are connected to your network, open the file and you'll have live stream, although the sound maybe as good as your connection speed. HTH, A

Has anyone tried to DL messages from a Gmail account? besides havig it set up to work for POP it only gives me a Error Message of not able to DL messages... any suggestions? A.

That's right folks if you used your "regular" minutes to connect to the web, and your provider is Verizon, you won't be able to connect to the web, the only way is now through a DATA plan, which is going to be either $59.99 for the Broadband and $44.99 for the National coverage around 144 kbps of speed. This is really a low blow for those of us that did not expect the extra expense.

Has any one seen this: Dog.C695 watchdog??

Hi all, Recently a pop up window showed on my i700 saying: "Dog.C 695 watchdog time out monitor 280017C mask 21F43DFF" I have no idea what is this, I don't have any virus scanner on board or anything alike, has anyone seen this before? Please advice! A.
