Well maybe ill be the first to help u solve ur problem. go on howardforums.com and tell them ur problem and they should get u what ur looking for. there really helpful and should be able to help u. They got diffrent mods like new fireware flashes and flexes that should all help u so u can use ur new phone.

Yep u can get withotu contract call em up or go to a local store i belive its 200 without contract according to add for it that shows 80 as 2 yr and 200 as retail

should be able to roam on there since it has 1900 and is currently a tmobile phone but anyway why u need it to roam on there if u can use cingular network(better in my opinion)

I dont know about coverage on 1900 band but if its bad and all else fails you can go on hofo and they got some seem edits to unlock 800/850 band and u can then use a630.

I know im gonna get nagged for saying this but go with the LG L1400. Its a bit more than the v551 and lacks bluetooth and speakerphone but it has dual color displays(u can take pics with outer display) and in norther NJ i get 4 or 5 bars out of 5(mostly get 5 sometimes drops to 4 or 3 inwhich 3 is lease likely) the ringers are loud especially the Ring 1 which sounds like the ringer of ...

Okay i tried to write soemthing but my internet explorer crashed and now i have to rewrite. To make a logn story short i got a warranty replacement phone. On my old one i had 3 games worth about 20 bucks. When i was getting it replaced lady told me to get refund on the 3 games and then use credit to repurchase them. I tried that but they got denied. Yean you got 30 days to try it out. I live up in bergen county. Coverage aroudn here is great. 4/5 bars. I been to pennsylvania and great coverage there. been to NYC and same. Been to NY state and same there. Everywhere i go i get great coverage. Defiantly satisfied. You should try it too. Cingular i think has great coverage in NY,NJ, and PA. Cingular all the way!!!

Dude you mad lucky i dont want to start another war of the carriers. All i will say is from personal expirence i had no better than Cignular. I never had cingular but in my house i know someone with verizon and he says it sucks i perosnally have no opinion with it since i never tried it. I love cingular and dont plan to try verizon. My exact though bluetooth, megapixel camera, and removable memory cards would make ti the perfect phone. if it doesn't run too high without contract or on ebay i'll still get it. Yey!! first to post on this new phone. Looks liek it definalty will be from cingular. Lacks a MP camera and bluetooth. Where ti lacks it comes strong with style and functionality. This tread is really getting me angry. I have a LG L1400 and love it. NOT ONE SINGLE PROBLEM. people always commplain about LGs but i have 6 of them(2 lg 4015s locked to attws, 1 lg g4020 locked to attws, 2 lg c1300s locked to cingular, and 1 lg l400 factory unlocked) i a currently a cignular ornage customer and had little or no problems with these phones except for replacing old attws simds on a 4015 and ...
