Re: More proof that. . .
Well right now I have 4.3 on my iPhone and I am using it as a hot spot to respond to your message via my iPad. So it does have a purpose for thevpeople who have tablets w/o 3G embeded.
Re: Answer: Look at the retail tags
You forgot to mention the face that when he said trade off, he is saying they got rid of New Every Two and annual upgrades in order to carry the iPhone 4. As an indirect agent as you say you are, you should know that iPhone inventory is different story that Motorola inventory. When you buy iPhone's as a company you own that product fully. That is why Verizon will lose 5 Billion the first year of carrying the ...
You are really dumb (in Antoine Dodson voice)
1. Verizon and AT&T prices are almost identical and 2. They did not rob you, you gave them all your thousands of dollars even though you knew for the past 4 years they did not work where you lived so guess what, it is not AT&T's fault you were too foolish to get something that worked for you. Funny thing is AT&T gave you the choice to leave them after two years.
People like yourself with iPhone's and keep getting ...
Re: The Buy Back is off of the RETAIL PRICE
nicely done, people need to read and understand what they are talking about before they post silly things they make up
Re: There's only been one--
was that before Verizon took over?
Re: This is Awesome!!
Thank you, someone understands it
Re: This is Awesome!!
You either read it wrong or the article presented it wrong, I work for Best Buy so I know how the program works.
Re: This is Awesome!!
Sorry, you will get 259.60 back which is still good chuck on change.
This is Awesome!!
So this is how it works, 2 examples:
Sprint Customer:
So as a Sprint Premier customer you can upgrade once a year. You go to Best Buy and get your new HTC EVO on contract for 199.99. Add 59.99 for buy back, but since I want my device protected I than get Buy Back for 29.99. A year passes ans there is a new EVO that retails for 199.99. I give Best Buy my old EVO and they give me 325 ...
motorola Droid II and the AKA Shadow
One of the devices will be the Motorola Droid with a few cosmetic changes, one being the lip at the bottom. Also will have the same size screen. The other will be the Motorola Shadow but they will not call it the Shadow, it is going by another name.
I tried to pass this information to androidcentral like last week or earlier this week but they ignored me.
Re: Okay...
glad you know you don't want it, saves us from processing a return.
Re: It's Micro, not Mini HDMI
yes he is correct, it is Micro HDMI, I have played with the device and have taken it to the video camera section to check out the Mini HDMI there and it was too big.
Gotta love Best Buy!
I tell you I love working for Best Buy Mobile for many reasons but this right here just shows you how a company so big listens to their employees. I had a store visit where territory and corporate employees asked me to compile my top 10 apps and the google app was one of them. Well one of the territory people said "I think we need to look into that app" and couple months later look what we got ...
Re: Coverage isn't the same everywhere...
Verizon coverage in Charlotte area is better then AT&T I hate to bust your bubble. I xcarry around both an AT%T and Verizon service both Blackberrys and I get far better coverage on my Verizon phone then I do my AT&T. The kicker is when traveling down 85 I have 3G coverage for both AT&T and Verizon but once I get to exit 52 Popular Tent I get only EDGE for AT&T and still 3G for Verizon.
What if...
What if Nokia knew about the Patent early and figured the longer they wait the more money they could get out of this deal...hmmmm
Verizon and sling media
So I guess this means nbc.com on Verizon's network should open up and now Sling media can make their product work with Verizon's phone even if it does not have wifi
Re: What did Apple promise?
lol i love that line " customers wanted a full keyboard, so apple gave them a campass app"
Re: Zero1 was a scam from the start
also note that it seemed shady to me cause one of their reps or sales guy approached me while I was at work. Asked me if I wanted to make money on the side selling their service. I never accepted and glad I did not.
Re: Unocking a forgotten password on the storm
nope! Sorry but Blackberry's are designed to be very well protected phones. If you forget your password after entering it in wrong using all your tries it will then erase all of your data off of your phone.
Re: Some of You do not make any sense
that is why I refuse to get an iPhone. It just feels like your hands are tied down when it comes to what you want to do with the phone. I will pick any windows or blackberry device over an iPhone for the simple fact I can do almost anything I want with them.
Re: Some of You do not make any sense
finally someone with a brain and understands where I am going with this.
Some of You do not make any sense
Some of you keep saying how at&t would lose millions but if you think about it, the app is available for all blackberry's to download. There are more blackberrys then there are iphones out there so how would allowing one app for one phone going to hurt them when its already available for other phones on their network?
Re: Hahahaha love it

couldnt apple just make itunes not accept anything expect ipods and iphones?
iphone is still better imo
they do but the Pre has some type of emulator that fools itunes into thinking it is an apple product like an ipod.
Re: Best Buy and T-Mobile
I understand where you are going with this trust me, and let me say that this is something we are trying to work out now. If Best Buy had it their way we would have here trust me.
Re: Geek Squad
ok lol you had me second guessing my self
Re: Geek Squad
what false information did i post? please explain
Re: Best Buy and T-Mobile
you stated att, sprint and verizone handcuffed best buy. I was saying that part was false sorry.
Re: Best Buy and T-Mobile
This is totally false. If a Best Buy wants to sell T-Mobile which some do, they have to drop one of the other 3 major carriers which most drop Sprint. Its really depends on where you live and who are the top three in that area. Over here the stand alone Best Buys sell T-Mobile and not Sprint.
I think this is either a T-mobile thing or a Verizon thing. Cause back in 2003 the wireless company I worked ...
Re: Here's an awesome idea for Best Buy
we used to have real phones on display and that was when it was wireless. We sucked at wireless and we have very few phones looking at roughly 25 - 30 phones total and thats with 3 carriers. Now that we are Best Buy Mobile we have close to 100 phones to show off, 3 carriers, 5 - 7 prepaid carriers and unlocked phones to show off. Now can you imagine how much that would cost Best Buy if ...
Re: LOL
I work at Best Buy and I had a customer who had an issue taken care of at a Verizon store and her bill ended up being 2000 dollars. Lucky I knew what was going on and took care of it for her.
We all make mistakes be it the carrier store, authorized agent, Walmart(still do not believe they sell phone) and Best Buy. And when we mess up there are reps at other locations that have the knowledge ...
Re: Geek Squad
$15 dollars? you sure? I just paired a customers phone to his cell phone and it cost him nothing. He even had the pair sku on his receipt but hey you may be right. I also did an email setup for a customer and it cost her nothing as well.
Re: LOL
sounds like a sprint rep whose upset that Best Buy Mobile has better prices and treats their customers a lot better then a Sprint Corp store can/will
Re: I Disbelieve
you misunderstood me, I meant phones like the Voyager, Dare and Versa. When it comes to AT&T I sell lots of Vu's and Eternitys cause people want touch screens but don't want to dish out the 30 dollar data charge a month
Re: Major loss for RIM, LG, and Samsung
not a major loss at all if you think about it. Some businesses still wont support the iPhone leaving those people going for Blackberry while people not wanting to be forced to buy a data plan will just get an LG or Samsung. I sell phones and I sell more regular touch phones on AT&T rather the iPhones because people just dont want to pay for the data.
Re: Major loss for RIM, LG, and Samsung
just buy it at best buy, they cover accidental damage on the iphone.
Peoria, IL coverage questions
Ok I have a customer whose parents live in a twon called Peoria in Illinois. What I want to know is if Verizon's coverage is good there and if it is spotty then what is a good phone to go with to help with coverage? Thanks for any help.
Of course this question is for anyone who lives or goes to this area and knows about it.
Not availble till 2009 in retail?
Are they just talking Sprint retail stores because Best Buy Mobile is selling it in stores for 149.99 w/ a 2 year service agreement.
Best buy to start presells on Storm
Have you guys heard or read alreaday? But you can go to your local Best Buy that offers Verizon Service and preorder your BlackBerry Storm just by putting down 50 dollars. Im so excited!
Re: Watch Out Radioshack
for the longest time we have carried the peal never has it been over 149.99, you must have been looking at the wrong price. The Pearl through Verizon is free straight out the door, 129.99 throught att and 79.99 through sprint. But I am not going to argue here but hey, at least we are the only ones in the market to cover the iPhone with accidental coverage from drop or liquid damage which apple nor att offers
Re: Actually
Actually, the 26 stores are Best Buy Mobile 1.0, these 3 stores are Best Buy Mobile 2.0 which will sell all the upcoming products while the 1.0's wont and also the 2.0 stores will be bigger.
