Discoloration on exterior and Camera problem
Nov 10, 2005, 4:39 PM
in the Motorola RAZR V3 forum

First issue is that the black frame around the external screen has some discoloration around it. It does not effect the operation whatsoever, but it looks like moisture may have gotten under the outer edges of the glass (plastic?) screen and the black part underneath is kind of blotchy. Any way to fix it? Does anybody know of anything like this happening to anyone else? Second issue: I had not used the camera for a while ...

Biggest omission on the original razr IMO was edge. Hopefully moto got this one right! I like the idea of itunes and the flash card and the 1mp cam. Any official word on high speed internet?

As a customer service manager I take offence to that! Ask any of the 10 reps on my team, not all managers are drunk on power like you said. When I was a rep I found the good managers and the bad, then when the shift bid's came I stayed on with the managers I knew I liked. If you have problems with a manager go to an AM if you have problems with an AM go to a Senior AM ...

That is a very adult response. If you want to get technical the 850 mhz that cingular uses (in most areas) is better at penetrating walls and surfaces than the higher frequencies that CDMA providers use (1900 mhz if memory serves) CDMA plays off of cordless phone hype. in cordless phones the higher the frequency the higher end marketing. The jump from 900 mhz cell phones to 2.4 gig phones was not due to a problem with the frequency ...

you guys apparently did not read the article at all did you? quote: There were a number of practical reasons for selecting tritium as the source of energy, says co-author Larry Gadeken of BetaBatt - particularly safety and containment. "Tritium emits only low energy beta particles (electrons) that can be shielded by very thin materials, such as a sheet of paper," says Gadeken. "The hermetically-sealed, metallic BetaBattery cases will encapsulate the entire radioactive energy source, just like a normal battery contains its ...

normally you will get the replacement in 3 business days, otherwise you can pay $7.50 to get it there next day. Also it is not a loaner, you keep the one they send you same model (if same not avail they give you similar model) no need to worry about it. If you have your contacts saved to the sim, slap the new sim in and call it a day

actually with the exchange program they ship you the new phone before you send yours out. You get the replacement and a pre-paid shipping label to send your phone back. Only thing you pay is if you want to upgrade the shipping (next day is only $7.50) No need to hassle with loaner phones, no need to go to the store, no need for any of that, easy and hassle free. I have exchanged 2 different phones using this process and couldn't be ...

CCD Camera Phones

Were there any camera phones that use a CCD sensor rather than a CMOS? All the megapixels in the world done mean a thing if the lens and the sensor are not high quality. If you compare the MPX220 1.3 mp CMOS camera to the SE S710A 1.3 mp CCD camera there is no comparison. Aside from the s710a are any other manufacturers planing on putting together a phone with a CCD camera to compete with the s710a? The reason I ask ...
