I was just wondering when VZW is going to start pshing this product. I seen a sign at the booths but that was it. No Televison adds or Newspaper adds. What is the deal. Anyone know about this.

I have the Phone and it is really nice I had the V60P which my wife uses now. I like the Lg great recepetion, connection time is like 1second easy to use. Speaker phone is really nice. I like you can use the PTT with the flip open or closed. Battery life is awesome.

Well I think you need to do some research Verizon does have family share plans for PTT and also you can ask for a phone up grade to get a cheaper rate on a phone. The share plans are on there web site www.verizonwireless.com People who think Nextel is awesome need to leave there back yard and travel with it. It sucks

Nextel Sucks!! Coverage area is terrible. They were so bad they had to merge with some other company or be chewed up and spit out. If all you drive is the interstate nextel might work get off that path and you have no service. I did a comparison at the Nextel store and how fast there top of the line phone the rep had and compared to my old V60p. Hers was slower to connect and this was an ...

Talking incentives I know they are offering you to upgrade and get the upgrade price with out being close to your contract date. They have also redid there price plans so now you can get a family share plan were as before you couldn't. This should atract some people. I agree that there phones should have more features like sprints do but we know this will never happen in our life span. Verizon is to slow to get anything ...

Well I like it. All of the PTT phones operate the same just other features like color and get it now. It connects like very fast 1-2 seconds maybe. You do have a contact list for PTT but at least you don't need to use the computer to hook it up. I have had the V60p and now the LG the Lg is the best longer talk time and a better phone. Flip can be closed or open for ...

All I can tell you is invest in extra batteries and auto charges because you will sure need them with the V60/V65p. And when you say Professional I guess if I was your business customer I would rather know that you would be able to call me and would care less if you even had the old brick cell phones just as long as you could call me

It is awesome 190 hours stand by compared to 80 with the v60P and v65p.

I have the PTT and it is great. I have the LG VX4700 it has the longest battery time for all of the PTT phones and it is lighter than the V60p and the V65p. Also with the New Lg you can use the PTT when the flip is closed you can't on the V60/65P

Well I can talk from first hand I have the PTT with Verizon now and it works great in my area. I have the V60p and what I have found out is the people who use the v60p it has to have the updated software other wise you will have the delay. I had mine updated at the main Verizon store in about 20 mins and I have a dekay if you call it under a second from the ...

This what I heard PTT talk is going to be rerolled out in the 2nd quarter or sooner. I have PTT now and it works good there is a slight delay but that is going to get better. Also if you happend to have the V60p you might need to have the software checked on the phone to make it operate better. Mine is new but software is old and you would need to take it to a ...

Well nextel has no coverage area. Second nextel you have 2 different number to dial one for mobil and one for direct connect. M2M is ok but the problem I have is that there is a delay when you call verses a direct connection with no delay. PTT is nice for quick answers to questions like when you are on trips etc. I just think it will be a nice thing to have plus you get m2m out ...

Can some people give me your thoughts on this. I am wanting to have the options to use PTT. Verizon is making changes to there service to make it better and I am trying to decided who is going to be better for coverage and service. Sprint has ready link already and working but I don't know how well I live in Wisconsin, With the merger of Nextel are they going to provide a better direct connect service than ...

well I can understand your thoughts but not everyone is retarded when they use there phone like you are saying I am. I myself am not planing on having hour conversations on a PTT connection. PTT if used correctly it is for quick answers like location if you are looking for someone and stuff like that. I agree that people need to learn not to use a cell phone in a eating establishment that is a real pain ...

Thanks for the info Steve. I really am looking foward to the PTT with verizon. I stopped by Sprint and they offered me any 2 phones and to buy out my contract to switch I was tempted but there customer service really sucks.

Re: Should I switch to Verizon or stay with Sprint?

Jen I would stay with Verizon, Verizon has much better customer service and will have a even larger coverage area than sprint when they reroll out there Push to talk which is like Sprints ready link service. Things are usally slower getting out with verizon since they want the best for there customers. Verizon also was rated this year again as #1 Sprint wasn't close Hope this helps

Hey Steve, I have heard that LG VX4700 is supposed to be out in Feb and if that is true I would assume that maybe PTT will be out then also. I don't understand all the Hush Hush on stuff with verizon everyone knows they are going to have it why not let people know so they can make plans if your contract is up so they can get even more business or keep there current customers

I agree with you Steve about why someone would want it. I think it will be great to have PTT. I went to the Mall of America with the Family and everyone had a regular Walkie Talkie and you were getting other peoples conversations on your own personal walkie talkie. Just a pain. The other option we had was sure we had free in calling but that is a pain to have to call someone to see were they ...

I disagree I have had Sprint and that customer service sucked. Verizon has always taken care of me if a problem ever came up. Verizon was rated #1 again this year I feel they do more for there customers with out us (customers) having to ask to get taken care of
