actually, once both att and bellsouth are one company and all is integrated you will see a difference. two core land line support brought together will help in call processing and routing. long distance routing, trunks, etc... one backbone for servers (att) instead of the 3 -4 that are currently used. att will work at getting the type 1 numbers in bst markets converted to next generation numbers which will help with reliability of prefixes that were left over ...

1-2 weeks... last time i delt with motorola or samsung they said 4-6 weeks. and that's what i tell customers. and the refurb thing makes sence. if they sent their phone in they would fix it, not give a new phone. so, they shouldn't expect a new phone... the quality assurance from the manufactures is pathetic though... but honestly, i try and only buy refurb phones becasue of the deal and i never have any problems.

if i'm not mistaken Tex, the on - network per the new upgrade eligibility is people who have a number based out of one market and live in another, but are still on our network, even that cost us money. so they are on network, aren't roaming, but still costing the company money as more than 50% of mou is not based in their home market.
