1. You can change to the new promotion without any fees for changing. 2. It is a promotional plan and as long as you are within your first half of your current contract (e.g. under 12 mosof 24 month agreement; under 6 mos of 12 month agreement) you will not have to extend. If you are past half of your contract or are out of contract you will have to extend by 12 months.

this is my advise and i have transferred maybe one or two calls on this issue..make sure the feature is active in care...add a svc line under sub maintenance/services..under gprs in snooper make sure you have wap and isp...also if that does not work look up "data support handset settings" in csp...it will bring back tier III wap settings for every phone...and if they have a samsung and it is saying no response from network it is because their ...

we have a pay per use feature @ .01 per kb...also we have bundles media plans 1mb with 250 sms and 50 mms for 7.99/mo; unl int usage (from phone); 1500 sms and 250 mms for 19.99/mo...if you are using data connect...we have data unl access for 79.99/mo

thanks... with theoretical peak rates of 473 kbps and average throughput of 110-130 kbps. as far as i am informed as of now EDGE data transfer speeds range from 60-170 Kb/sec....

well this is the current info that i have it may be updated since last post but cingular edge runs 30-90 with 6200 handset...30-135 with early datacard...verizon and sprint with 1xrtt tech is 60-90 with datacard.. and verizon evdo in wsh dc and san diego runs 300-500 with datacard..now remember edge is still a baby so its destined to be up and running faster as more edge capable handsets are launched...GPRS data transfer speeds range from 30-40 Kbps before ...

EDGE an enhancement to GPRS that enables data transfer over the wireless internet at speeds of up to 3 times faster than the GPRS transfer used today. When using data products such as downloading a game or graphic or accessing corporate data with Data Connect, EDGE will make the data transfer faster than CSD or GPRS. EDGE data transfer speeds range from 60-170 Kb/sec.
