I thought it was the carriers bloatware you can't get rid of. What they anounced sounds like third party apps you can un install and download without problems later on.

I think online sales are hurting them a lot, but it can't be just that thoug. Yesterday I walked in one asking for an HDMI cabel for my cell to my TV. Didn't know what I was talking about.

as hilarious as that sounds, it´s 100% true. Canada is having a shortage of young to middle age people. Especially people willing to do laborious jobs or phisicall work. Waiters, cooks, truck drivers, field, construcction etc etc. and getting work permits is real frekin easy as long as you don't have a record.

Current Phones
Just makes me wonder how secure or unsecured are the current phones in the market. If this is selling secured connections this is telling me the current phones have unsecured connections.
Anybody know what kind of security breaches can be done on our current phones

I personally think that a lot of new technology, especially on phones, are at first considered gimmicky and un- necessary . However this is just because we've been getting by fine without it in the past .
Once we get used to a new feature , you pretty much expect in other devices and much later consider it an essential. A very vauge example of this could be when screen rotation first came out.

Voice Command spec suggestion
As a suggestion, could you include weather the phone has built in Voice Command feature such as SIRI for I Phones. Right now on the specs it just mentions voice dailing .
Could you also clear up weather Google Now is available for all Android and if you're able to use it to activate voice command features such as texting without internet connection.

I believe the Moto G does not have NFC, does not have expandable memory and does not have a removable battery. It has Andriod and is pretty cheap but by no means it´s a flagship device.
Just pointing out the features that started this discussion do not come in this phone . However looking at it from a very vague point of view, it has the about the sames features as an iPhone for maybe a fraction of the price. ...
Its water proof!
At a christmas party , I dropped this phone in Ice cold water ( the tub where we had the beers) . It was there for 20 minutes untill someone saw lights coming from the bottom of the tub.
The thing worked , the speakerphone was messed up though, the next morning after letting it sit in a bag or rice, it workes flawlessly!

So here in TJ Mexico, if you renew your contract after bout 6 months you can qualify for a free phone, they offered me this, the S III mini , and LG lx7 ,
I chose the 16 gb out of a quick 10 min search( found nothing) and out of impulse,
Lets see how it handles...
