this is more about tmo about to takeover Mint and add 2 mill more subs to there prepaid lead over verizon. mint grew that big doing this so verz hopefully expects the same. or that they can steal some of those new tmo mint customers.

Its a duopoly in the world not just america. Sony dont deserve anything remember sony ericson phones were a popular thang. Sony decicded to split that was greedy when sony playstations got big thought they could do crossover so wanted to own the whole phone unit and game crossover didnt ever really become a thing. Greed always is costly.

T-mobile gains more than any other company over the last like 5 years and they are actually profitable. Now do they make as much as the big 2 no. But they don't need Sprint and would survive without this merger. A better merger would be Dish and T-mo less debt **** load of spectrum and possibility of UNCARRIERING the bundle cable market. So you dumb asss hell if you think T-mob needs sprint they have nationwide 600mhz

You are ignorant Big 2 weren't aren't putting T-mo out of nothing T-mo makes money not anywhere near as much as those 2 but are profitable. They add over a million customers for the last idk how many quarters. Also, since ATT taking them over was denied what 6 years ago they have gained over 40 million customers. T-mo doesn't need Sprint a better merger would of been Dish. Less combined debt and Dish has stroves of spectrum they ...

Merge with Dish. Dish has stalled on finally starting to plan spectrum build out. Where as T-mobile over last couple of years have built out fast. Why not just merge with Dish they have a lot of mid band spectrum and nationwide satellite also would of made more sense. Deusteche Telecom could of done reverse merger again like they did with Metro Pcs. DT's t-mo stake is 66 percent should of just gave Dish shareholders 20 percent of ...

Nah neither company needs each other and hopefully this is the end of this merger talks between the two. Comcast could buy a stake of Sprint from Son and Dish and T-mo could merge and both would be fine. T-mo is already maintaining a million new customers a quarter and making 100's of million yea and its not billions a quarter like the big 2 but still shows they don't need to merge.

As a home broadband customer that lives in the 4th largest city in America in Houston in a middle class type neighborhood that's about 8 miles from the downtown main courthouse I'll take this if it means faster internet speeds. At&t refuses to build out this area even after all I just said. This isn't no rural area. No excuse for me to only have 1.5 mbs measly pathetic slow speeds in 2015. Earlier this year I got a letter ...

Next year they can start selling phones under the Nokia name. This gives them a hardware business again. Except this time they will be using android. Based on the comments from Nokia's N1 designed android tablet by Foxconn people will buy a Nokia android phone including myself. Samsung you will be the new old Nokia soon if you keep removing features you stuck with for years like the removable battery and sd card slot. You are asking for LG ...

in the Article: Microsoft Releases Windows 10 Developer Toolkit forum

Blackberry at 0.5 percent smartphone global share is pretty much done. While Windows phone worldwide is around between 3-4% and hasn't grown as fast as Microsoft would have liked; I can see with Windows 10 cross platform and a new refreshed browser overall instead of old boring Internet Explorer them making a turning point. People need to remember Apple only has like a 12-13% global share. If Windows phone market share could get around 6-7% I could see Microsoft ...

How come in 2015 in America this isn't becoming the norm yet? Meaning dual sims. I have 3 lines. 1 is a monthly plan, and the 2 others are on a pay as you go plan I pay every 3 months or so just to keep active. I rather not carry 3 phones overall; especially for my 2 back up lines when I could just carry 1 dual sim instead. If Samsung could make a mid ranger with dual ...

In America a major purchase takes at least 6-10 months to get approved then finalized. In Mexico it takes 2-3 months lol. At&t first mentioned this in November and now it's January. Mexico must of really needed the cash influx off the taxes of this deal overall.

in the Article: Galaxy Note Edge Now Available from Verizon forum

Ouch to Verizon customers. Verizon's feeling the pressure from the lil guy T-mo with its Uncarrier moves. This should be $299 at most on contract not $399. Like I said with Uncarrier taking some prime customers from the big Boys and the AWS auction draining money from the 2 big Boys we probably will see more price gauging from Big Blue and Big Red.

I said Dish has capital to buy US Cellular not T-mo. I said I don't want Dish to buy T-mo. Dish plus US Cellular equals a stronger #5 carrier. We all could benefit from a stronger carrier competing besides T-mo and now Sprint. That's where I mentioned T-mo instead of buying that spectrum from US Cellar just do joint roaming with them on LTE. People need to get the concept of all the regional carriers going away out of ...

Dec 10, 2014, 10:21 PM
in the Article: AT&T and US Cellular Propose PCS Spectrum Swap forum

It's clear US Cellular can't compete well. The last few years they have made money buy swapping or selling out spectrum and customers to the Tier 1 players. They made like 700 plus million selling spectrum and customers to Sprint then more spectrum to T-mo. I don't want Dish buying T-mo like some people suggest. I want Dish to buy US Cellular and make it a stronger #5 carrier. Dish could even afford to buy it outright and expand ...

Verizon feeling that T-mo heat that is coming

in the Article: Verizon Makes It Pricer to Break Contracts forum

Verizon most likely doing this because they know T-mo is about to release initial markets of Band 12 spectrum that they bought from Big Red. So, once that happens soon and that improves T-mo's coverage in dense buildings and outside of major city limits then with T-mo's ETF payoff Verizon could see a decent amount of people jump ship. So, in this instance this is most likely why we see this change.

365 days from today will be Halloween again. Well I have $365 saying this MVNO won't make it until then. Nothing about this sounds compelling especially the part about the highest plan is $88. Only 2gbs at this price point I had to make sure this wasn't a typo so I went to the actual website. The plans are weird and blended. They don't even use the term gbs for data they use 2,048 mbs in which ...

I had Consumer Cellular about 2-3 years ago. I had it for like 4-5 years before anybody really knew about it. Before the company did all the commercials and had the distribution it has today. My point is it is a good company with good customer service. Some of the customer service people actually use to work for At&t. I would recommend Consumer.

I like the direction this company is going especially with more retail presence and more hardware both coming soon. However, this Liberty has only wifi for 89 bucks. I read on another site to get LTE they said you can buy a hotspot to pair with this for special price of 49. So 89+49 to get LTE and wifi equals 138 plus taxes plus you have to carry 2 devices instead of 1 equals pass. The frenzy has LTE ...

With 1.5 gb ram and 8 gb internal storage and at least 2 mega pixel selfie camera its an ok mid range decent water proof phone. With T-mobile mentioning that they are implementing the 700 A block spectrum and will release capable devices either late Q3 or early Q4 I might just snag this for this low price. I was going to get a S4 or S5 off 3rd party Craigslist or FB groups yeah people look at your ...

Regional carriers are worth less than national carriers. Mvno's are worth less than regional carriers. So how in the hell is 8.3 % of Tracfone worth 5.6 billion At&t was going to over pay in 2011 for T-mobile 39 billion when it was only worth about 18 billion. My point is how is Tracfone with 25 million customers worth more all in all than T-mobile was in 2011 who had more customers then and a national network>? I understand ...

Exactly I am surprised how nobody has noticed this yet. US Cellular agreed and sold off at the end of last year 10% of their overall business to Sprint for around $500,000. Earlier this year they agreed to sell off some AWS spectrum to T-mobile for around $300,000 this deal should close soon. My point is why would they sell all this spectrum including major markets to Sprint unless they have something even bigger in stored? I know why that ...
