Re: Motorola v265 vs LGVX6100

the v265 is absolutely garbage. i was a v60 user for 2 years and finally needed to upgrade my phone. i bought the v265 and after 1 week of hardcore use, testing all of its capabilites, i realized it was a piece of junk. way too plastic of a feel, horrible screens both inside and out, why so small on the inside for such a huge phone? the camera was worthless. the buttons were so flimsy and typing a test ...

Re: Volume bug problems

I have the volume bug problem on incoming calls too. I read this forum before I bought the phone so I was aware this would be a possibility. But I first bought the Moto v265 and absolutely hated that phone. I love the vx6100 outside of this problem. Anyway, I'm located in Northern California and am on the America's Choice plan. I've asked the Verizon store if they've heard of this problem and they said no. It takes 2 to ...

Re: ringer volume

actually, when open, it's ringing at the same volume i believe, it's just that when the phone is open, the sound will be a bit muffled since the speaker is located on the outside flap of the phone and therefore is being muffled by whatever object your phone is laying against.. for example, if your phone is open and sitting on your desk, the speaker is pointing towards your desk therefore the sound isn't as free to travel as it ...

Random green blinking light when flap closed?
Dec 19, 2004, 9:24 PM
in the LG VX-6100 forum

What does this mean? My phone will be on, but not in use, just closed sitting on my desk and I'll notice that the outside green light on the right side will just start randomly blinking. I know it doesn't mean a voicemail or text message indication because whenever the green light flashes I check the phone and there isn't a message. The green light is the same green light that will light up when your battery is fully charged, ...

Also, I forgot to add that I'm in Northern California and am on the America's Choice plan, so I'm not sure if this affects how these phones are programmed? All I know is that the words "Verizon Wireless" are not stored into my banner so it's not like I can erase them by just clearing out the banner. And they weren't there BEFORE I did my first *228 update.

Verizon Wireless across my inside screen after *228?
Dec 19, 2004, 9:11 PM
in the LG VX-6100 forum

I've had this phone 2 weeks now and just did my first *228 roaming capabilities update (option 2 from *228 main menu) and now the words "Verizon Wireless" are underneath by banner (my first name) on my inside screen. Annoying because it's covering up a lot of my wallpaper now. Does anyone know how to remove these words? It's not saved into my banner, only my name is. Thanks.
