I've heard people tell me that when I'm on the phone and they call me, after they hear the ring, they get a beep, which indicates that i'm on the phone. I've tried to turn this feature off also, but can't seem to find what I need to look for. Also, I believe the other party only hears the beep, if they too are a Verizon customer.

I totally agree with 'shayalon' comments......, we post messages here to get answers and solutions to our phone/service problems. We don't need any jerks calling us idiots!

Well, I just got my replacement phone and i thought my problems were over, but was I wrong 8O Now, when I shut my phone, it still says "Verizon Wireless" on the outside display, and if I push down on the lid, it shows the time, and let go, it goes back to the verizon display!!!!! I just called and emailed verizon and gave them a earful...I can't wait to get rid of this piece of ...

Went to VZ today, had them order me a new V-265, should be here in a couple days, and hope this one is better. FYI, there was a lady in front of me with the same problem with a 265!

I am having problems over the past two months, I can hardly hear people on the other end with volume turned up all the way, before that had problems with phone going into analog/roam while sitting at home! Took it into the store and they told me they don't have any in stock at the store or the warehouse, so they tried to give me some other crap phone, but I refused...I need to call VZ back and ...

Joe....I have noticed the same annoying tick on my phone, and I had no idea what it was until I saw your post. I too have my call timer turned on, and I haven't tried it with it off yet! Thinking about switching from Sprint to T-Mobile in the Baltimore area...Zip is 21030, checked the website, it says there is good coverage, but does anyone have any comments on coverage around this area, or just T-Mobile in general.
