Make sure Power Save is turned off, and use in the dark... The keypad is backlit. It's actually a dull green instead of the "Brilliant Blue" that a lot of us have become used to. I actually like this over the blue, it's a lot easier on the eyes in the dark.

Here's a little something I figured out.. For some reason ringtones from modtones sound quieter than usual on all VZW flip phones. I don't know the complete reason but I just know thats the case (tried on mine, my friends VX 4400, my friends VX 6000, and one of my friends CDM 8900, and my old KX 414). All the times, the ringers from modtones were louder on my old KX 414 (my brother's phone now). But I've also ...
