Depends on if you take a lot of pics/videos. Or if you buy lots of things thru iTunes, i.e. tv shows/movies. I am going for 32GB. I think that is the sweet spot.

I beg to differ. I have been a member of PS for probably about 7 years, and I think I have done one review for a phone and I am about to do another for the SGS3. Compared to an iPhone 4S, the SGS3 may have better specs, but those specs do not translate into better performance. Mainly, reception. I can't place a call on the Galaxy hardly. The RF on this absolutely is awful. I can't wait to ...

That would be incorrect. A JB iPhone 4 does Facetime over 3G.

You can look up all that stuff. I have been using the Google Navigation on my Droid since December. It simply blows away VZ Navigator.

This is really for Eric or Rich, but how would you say the camera for the Incredible compares to the N82/N95? Those are the best camera phones I have ever used and was wondering what your opinion was. Thanks, Ken

AT&T Navigator

Does anyone have the Navigator with the SE W760? Or maybe a rep or technician can answer this. When I press menu, the Navigator is the top icon in the upper left corner. When I select that, I have the options of Navigator, Status info and Settings. The Status Info is to give satellite info, speed, number of satellites, etc. When I select that so that I can monitor that info, within 7 seconds the screen light goes out. ...

I have a family talk plan with 5 lines. It is the select plan, except my line is the premium. I just upgraded my line recently and gave the phone to my girlfriend. Her phone is eligible for upgrade in July, and she is going to give that to me. So I want a smartphone. So I am thinking the best thing to do is change my line back to the regular select plan at that time (saves $20), ...

On my Dare, when I go into pictures and send, there is an option to send "To Online Album". I looked all over Verizon's website when I logged into my account for that "Album" but couldn't find it. Does anyone know where it is? Thanks in advance.

I just got the mobile email application and one of the options is for a verizon.net account. Is this automatically included and if so, where do I set up username and password? I searched this forum and couldn't find an answer. Thanks. P.S. As far as I can see, there is no ability to send/receive attachments of any size with this. Am I correct?

Re: Verizon unlocks GPS on Curve and Perl
Dec 8, 2008, 1:38 PM
in the Verizon forum

Yes I was speaking about the Google Maps, not the Nokia Maps 2.0. The version of Google Maps that I have is a native S60 client made specifically for S60 FP1 devices, and its a .sisx file. Does it have a Java Emulator built into it? I do not know. I just know its better than the standalone Java version that is compatible with most phones. As for Nokia Maps. Its search is so horrible it couldn't find your next ...

So why does the Omnia require a data plan and this does not?

Re: Verizon unlocks GPS on Curve and Perl

Because Google Maps can find virtually any location/address you need. Its far and away better than any Navigation device/program in that respect. FWIW I use the native S60 version on my N95. And its just better than the Java version. But the Java version is sufficient enough.

Haven't been able to find a definitive answer to this question so maybe you'll know. Whats the largest size file you can send or receive with the mobile email app or is it like any other email program and pretty much unlimited?

I have 5 lines. Have had the NW Select plan for awhile now (90 for my line and 40 for the other 4). I get 19% corporate discount. After taxes, my bill was always about 137.60. I just went to the Premium on the primary line only so that pushed the primary line from 90 to 110 but after my discount it should go down to about 89 after discount (as opposed to 73 after discount on the select plan), ...

I am presuming mobile email uses data correct? And if I don't have any data plan, will I be charged data usage even though I'm paying the $5 monthly mobile email fee? Also, can you send and receive attachments and if so are you limited in file size? Can you view emails in HTML format? I would like to know if this phone requires you to have a data plan, since I am not very familiar with Verizon's data requirements. I would be interested in this device just on a regular phone plan, not data.

Are you serious? I have both Verizon and AT&T. Best phone currently on VZW, IMO, is the Dare. Now here you go talking about Android and iPhone, and they beat the S60 devices ala Nokia N95, N96, N82, etc....exactly how??
