Does Edge on W10M have the "Reading View" like W10-Tablet/Desktop Edge does? That is a major, marvelous feature. yes it does Cortana on my Lumia 635 AUTOMATICALLY delivers incoming texts over the Bluetooth headset, reading them aloud to me, then asking me if I want to dictate a response, call the person, or ignore the message. i think my favorite part is that cortana reads your response back to you to make sure she got it right, Cortana is the only true ...

having owned a WP8, several android(note 3 and moto x most recent) and several iphones i can say hands down Windows beats android and ios, the only reason i stopped using my 920, was because a lack of apps that i needed. My cousin now uses it and he installed W10 on it and i have got to play with it some, and it is amazing, and now the microsoft has been able to start bringing in more devs ...

yeah i dont know where he is getting only to smart phone OS's, he might be trying to imply the windows cant compete or isnt going to last, but Windows is a far superior OS compered to android and ios, just lacking in the app store if they can solve this, then they could become the number one mobile OS

now all microsoft needs to do is make flagship windows phones uses atom processors and make it so the flagship phones can run legacy win32 programs and you will have a phone that will destroy iphone and android, why would anyone want to buy one of those to is windows phones are a full fledge PC that can run any program as long as it meets the spec requirments, and not be stuck to a controlled ecosystem

the only android phone that can compete with this is the New Moto X, I honestly think both Apple and Moto should have stuch with 4.7inch screens, Iphone 5s was to small and note 3 is way to big, i have owned both i think my original Moto X is better then either one Tech spec wars are overrated, apples A7 chip out performs every android phone out there, with less cores and slower clock speed, why becuase when they do ...

this is exactly the same as there prepaid plan, there prepaid plan is 45 for unlimited talk and txt with 500mb of data, $5 for 500mb extra so do the math its the same, plus you will get better customer service and cell service and there contract plans and a discount on the phone so this is actualy better then what any other carrier has to off for one line at the moment

for instance with the 12month next program you are able to trade in your phone at 12months and stop paying installments on it and get a new device that you pay installments on, or you can continue paying it off and at 20months when its paid off upgrade it and keep the phone because you have paid the phone off all the way they dont make you trade it in

I for one hope Apple never moves to mico USB, it is the worst charging port ever made, I would much rather my phone be a tad bigger and have a mini USB over micro, the lighting port is way better then both of those its small and doesnt brake as easy as the micro, and if it does its just the charger not the port like so many android phones

I'm so sick of people who talk about the aesthetic and artistic qualities of a device as "design". Engineers design things. Marketing departments screw them up with their "art". Art and design are NOT the same thing. I think somebody has been drinking a littlebit to much of the samsung koolaid. Most people base there phone purchase of two things the features they want(examples: screen size, OS, battery life, DNLA, NFC, IR Blaster, apps, camera, custamization, internal hardware) and each ...

With out one the other wouldnt be where its at today. You are right I dont really push my phones to the limit anymore I use to be that guy. What I look for in a premium isn't gadgets that other devices dont have, I look for a device that does what every other device can do but better. i wont consider DNLA or IRBlaster a requirement for a premium device tell more people start demanding them(DNLA was a requirement for premium devices back when the galaxy line first came out ...

However, it falls behind in some other categories like battery size, DLNA, IR sensor, and memory card slot. Also, one review I read already of the Nexus 5's camera presented it as lackluster. your right customization is your main difference between iOS and android, the only other real difference is the extra gimmicking gadgets that companys like Samsung, HTC, and LG like to add to there andriod phones to one up eachother, not that those gadgets are bad its just along with the full customization options on andriod your common smartphone user which is %80-%90 of them dont use those gadgets or do more customization then just change wallpaper, ringtones(most people dont even ...

i agree with your statement about switching being frustrating and a learing curve, but the same can be said about switching from andriod to iOS, for some iphone is a better phone and for others andriod is better, I've seen plenty of people that have andriod and iphone would make a better phone for them and people with Iphone when andriod would make a better phone for them, people stick with one phone for so long when the switch, ...

i apologize you didnt specify this thread thought you meant another article have you used the 1020? cuz i have, yes you get the lossless but that really only counts when it comes to megapixels, the phones not capable of getting a good focus when digitally zoomed in that far, so your image isnt pixilated, but its not sharp enough to use for any pro photograhy you say, "I find it amusing how people always want to assume they know why ...

actualy photographers wont care at all, they know image quality is much more the pixal count, pro cameras are around the 18-21 meagpixal range anyways plus if you look at side by side photos taken by the 1020, 920, and iphone 5s, the 920 was almost as good as the 1020 and the iphone even beat the 1020 in some cases

i think it will actually catch on, as long as companys do it right(like apple with touch ID) we will see once more peaple start reviewing HTC's version, but if most people get the same results as Eric did with it only working 50% of the time then it wont get very for in the wireless industry, but with my iPhone 5s it works over 99% of the time and its fast unlocking my phone with touch id then ...

this is far from a step backwards, the method they used to unlock the iphone only works in perfect circumstances, circumstances that if were even slightly off wouldnt work, in the real world you would have to have very expensive equipment to get a print that is goodenough to use, the guys that hacked it even said that, people that could do this would have a even easier time cracking you password, the fingerprint scanner is a lot more ...

why dont you like the touch id placement, i have the 5s and find it a great place to put the sensor, i can have my phone unlocked before a even get it out of my pocket using touch id and it works over 99% of the time, having it on the back seems out of the way, while the home button most iphone users use to unlcok there phone over the power button, making inlucking your phone seamless

we shall se they havent said how many core, what clock speeds are or RAM amount, I agree if they dont put in enough RAM then it will just bottleneck a 64-bit processor, i want the 5S, but i also like the Galaxy Watch, so I'm also thinking about the note 3(its just to big for me) i like the smaller sceen, so if samsung gives a close date for S4 capatibility, thats also a option,
