Re: Bold Release Date (finally!)
Hey good buddy, just poppin on to see if there's any news on the Bold....and oh yeah, to remind you that you're a douchebag (just in case no one told you today). :)
Re: Bold Release Date (finally!)
Yeah, and my dad can beat up your dad. Blah, Blah Blah. GET A LIFE "will I am 1980."
Re: Whatszup with these carriers
I agree. A classic. Possibly the funniest message ever!
G.O.A.T.
Thought my 8300 was the best device I'd ever encountered.
THEN THEY MADE A LIAR OUTTA ME!
The enhanced 8310 with GPS is now, hands down, THE best device, personal and/or business related on the market to date! It is CON-less. It is the G.O.A.T.
(and it's shiny like a holiday too!)
Back in Black (berry)
I tried to love it. I really did! But for all of its bells and whistles, its glossy lipstick and high heels, it's just not the BB! I understand it never claimed to be, but still it sucked me in like a moth to a flame! So while it hurt so good to stray for one week, it's Back in Black(berry) for me! LOL!

Re: is there anyway to change the zen desktop icons.
On the Zen screen, scroll down to the Blackberry icon, tap it and you are into the multiple icon grid. The top row of icons are the ones the device recognizes for the Zen screen. From here it's really just cut and paste. Move to the icon you want on your Zen list, hit the Blackberry hard button, choose "Move Application" and then just position the icon in the top row somewhere. ...
Re: How to copy address book from phone to sim card ???
An unfortunate (but intended) Blackberry oddity. Contacts are stored in the device and on your PC. You cannot do a mass "copy" of all contacts in the Blackberry device to the sim card. You would have to do it one painstaking contact at a time. Assuming you want to remove the sim card and use it in another non-Blackberry device, AND assuming you've hopefully kept your contacts/address book updated on your PC, ...
White Screen
I've had the Pearl for Cingular/AT&T for several months now. Never had an issue. However, recently encountered random screen white-outs accompanied by a restart type action. Out of curiosity, I did an exchange for a new unit. Same situation. Interesting thing is that it only occurs in my region. Thinking it's either a glitch due to who-knows-what in Bucks County, PA, or something inherent in the unit itself. Anyone else ...
ETA?
Anybody have any updated wisdom to share as to a release date for Cingular? 2007? 2008? 2025? 2050?
Now in Stores!
South Jersey and Pennsy.
Re: its out finally !
Contacted Cingular Customer Service this morning. The V3i is currently only available with new service activation through Cingular.com on-line purchase. It will be available for stand-alone orders from Cingular within the month. Retail stores may be receiving the phone as early as next Friday.
Re: Cingular rejected phone
This is complete nonsense. No basis in fact, and just stupid mutterings. The phone is slated for release by the end of July. Bank on it.
June 24th to July 1st ....
FYI: Spoke to three separate reps at three separate store locations in PA/NJ. Cingular internal emails suggest the release date to be anywhere from 6/24 to 7/1. Most have the dummy phone, but that doesn't necessarily spell R-E-A-D-Y.
IN (my) store NOW
FYI: South Jersey . . . Cingular stores now in possession of the 2125 and ready to dispense.
SPKRPHONE
To clear up what appears to be a major point of contention, not to mention point of confusion, the PEBL U6 WILL HAVE A SPEAKERPHONE. The lack of mention on some sites (including Moto) of this feature is purely an oversight. Spoke to a Moto rep today and they confirmed that the PEBL does indeed have a speakerphone. In fact, the rep was shocked that I would even ask, as this feature "is, and has been ...
Re: External display light staying on when charging with car charger!?
There is not further need to post about this topic. It is neither a "bug" nor any deviation from the norm. The light is illuminated on the dislplay during car charging, as correctly pointed out by rw-1. You (1) can't stop it and (2) needn't worry about it.
Re: External display light staying on when charging with car charger!?
This is not a "bug." It is consistent with all V3's. While running off a constant source of power (i.e., a car's battery), the need for any display timeouts become unnecessary, as no cell power needs to be conserved. Moreover, display "burnout" is not an issue, as the display is not being overloaded with power, but rather only running on a constant, even source of energy. In other words, NO WORRIES MATE.
V3 Web Access
Web availability now in South Jersey and Phila area.
Re: V3 now for sale on Cingular's site
Web access geographically limited though. Not nationwide yet. However, was in the Cingular store in Moorestown, NJ today and received confirmation that their sales force was told they would have them Monday at the latest, tomorrow at the earliest. Tried out the one sales rep's award RAZR . . . sa-weet-ness!
