There will be a prepaid only dealer agreement available in the near future. Local markets have a couple ways to go about it. They can enlist existing dealers to 'sub' out prepaid with an addendum to their existing agreement or go after entirely new distribution on their own. stand by,
Most markets are occupied with C&C right now but I would contact your local market in the coming months.

True - distribution would have been effected but only actual door count. Depending on what store was kept, (based on lease roll and other expenditures) the staff would have moved to the other location. You are increasing your customer base substantially and the bodies to assist those customers. very minimum headcount would have been lost in the indirect channel.

somewhat flawed logic. while the actual door will be closed, the people will still be needed. Current staffing in COR and agent is designed to handle the current customer base. It would not be possible to take on an additional 40 million or so customers and keep staffing the same.

Southern Bell was one of the 22 Bell companies under the Bell Telephone umbrella prior to Divestiture.

Been to Sprint's website lately? They say WiMax is currently 3-6 megs. If AT&T is running 7.2, how do you not consider that better?

A dealer agreement (AT&T retail store) prohibits you from selling on the internet. You can have a website for information purposes only and cannot engage in ecommerce.
National Retailers are covered under a different agreement and each one is negotiated individually. Same for etailers.
Employees are not banned from blogs or social media on their own time. They are supposed to reveal that they are an employee and their comments do not represent the company.

VZW data speeds are capped out. They must switch to LTE. AT&T's current network is already capable of supporting 7.2.
Sprints own website says their 4g is currently 3-6 megs.
It's not about the name (LTE, 4G, etc) It's about the experience and the speed.
AT&T currently has the fastest data network and will continue to have the fastest data network even after other carrier 'upgrades'.

I get it. That is what I meant. I tend to lump all the crap together in one pile.
They might be 'profitable' and think that their sales are good but ask the carrier partners what they think of them. They are the butt of jokes and some of the worst performing locations for the carriers. Not to mention one of the highest costs of customers acquisition.
