Re: Google Voice has the same feature and functionality......
I have used both and the Sprint Voice-to-Text feature is more accurate.
Thanks!
Re: What I find funny
Newer Samsungs, within the last three years, are terrible. The older Samsung phones were some of the best for reception. Better than phones that are offered currently including Motorola and Sanyo.
Re: The longest review you'll ever read - if you read it. - Part 2/2
Why isn't this under the "Reviews" tab?
Re: Wow $99 @ Cellular South
Agreed!
Re: Welcome
Welcome...
TO ZOMBO COM!!!!! THIS IS ZOMBO COM!!!
I will finally be able to load that site on my phone! Woot!
Re: Bout Time
Hmmm... I've never seen a translator like that. Do you have that because you're in a valley and can't receive signals from SF?
Re: Finally!
w00t! :D
Google App
I deleted a Google app from my Pre. Will the 1.2.1 update put it back on my phone?
If not, how do I get it back? TIA.
Re: Should see an increase...
As long as you have a 3G device.
Which market are you in?
Re: Dumb people!
Yoar trying to tell me they are Pre uses eyetunes?
I can't believe they wouldn't drag and drop to they are Pre.
Way to go Sprint
With the HTC Hero being the only phone that could get me away from Blackberry I have to say I like the GSM version of the Hero better.
We will see when it launches.
Business Card Scanner?
What is this business card scanner and how does it work?
Re: Another phone I will not be able to add to my family plan.
Actually, the Credit Union discount is 10% for IL and 15% for CL. If you're going to correct somebody the least you could do is be correct.
Cellular South vs. Sprint
Without doing any research other than looking at the coverage map, Cellular South = Sprint coverage. Why would I want to pay $49.99/mo to get 500 Anytime minutes and 0 N&W minutes? I could go to Sprint and pick up a 450 minute plan with N&W, messaging and data for $69.99.
Just asking. What makes Cellular South "the best" in your opinion?
Re: Iris
In other news, I just downloaded the Bolt browser and it's fast!
Re: Iris
Other browsers such as the WebOS and Android browsers use Webkit from Iris.

Re: Where to download for BB
http://m.google.com/voice
go there on your BB browser.
But remember, it won't work until you get an invite.
Re: Thinking about switching to Sprint...
So you are a Verizon Rep Logan? And you have T-mo? And you were considering Sprint? Wow. I thought I was bad being a Sprint Rep carrying my at&t Blackberries.
:o
I love my 8900. We will have to see how the Tour compares to it but it definitely catches my attention.
Re: More sophisticated than the Iphone...
They will have two versions. One with and one without a camera.
Go here and watch the video and it highlights the camera capabilities.

Re: I wonder why?
I'll take one on Sprint. Thanks!
OS 4.5
OS 4.5 is now available on the Curve 8330 and Pearl 8130. Update to get MMS and HTML on email.
:D
Re: Qiuck ? why do my incoming msgs to my e-mail account also show up in the text msg icon?
Open your Messages folder and push the menu button. Go to Options > General Options. Scroll to SMS and Email Inboxes and select Seperate.
Re: Sprint or Verizon?
I say switch. Sprints plans are cheaper and that adds up. And EVDO on Sprint is fast.
Re: deleting everything from curve
I hope you already got your answer, but if not...
Options > Security > General Setting. Then push the menu key (Blackberry button) and select Wipe Handheld.
Hope this helps!
MMS on 8330 yet?
I currently have the 8300 (4.5) with at&t but am considering switching to the 8330 with Sprint.
Does the 8330 support MMS yet or do you still have to use the @pm.sprint.com BS?
I would be upgrading to 4.5 right away if that makes a difference.
Re: deleting sent and recieved calls
Oh, and I am using the 8300.
Re: deleting sent and recieved calls
Just did that to try it. It deletes all Sent and Received calls but leaves the Missed calls. Still works though.
Thanks
Re: Impressed
If only this phone wasn't WinMo.
I'm a BB fan.
Re: Some people say......
Word.
Re: Address Book phone # default
I have noticed it will automatically put the # in as a Mobile # if you save it from an SMS or MMS.
Re: Shortcut to vibrate?
This is what I do. I use the profiles on the home screen. This makes it easy for me to change when on a phone call too.
Re: Slow SMS Text Messaging
I have this problem as well on my 8330. I send 5000-7000 text per month and it does get slow. I was able to free up a little bit of memory by storing all media on my MricroSD and setting the on phone storage to 0 for my pictures.
Re: Text messaging while in a call....
This may be the only reason I stay with my 8300 with at&t. I text constanly while I'm on the phone.
Re: NAME A GOOD BLUETOOTH 4 THE CURVE....CAN'T DECIDE..
I like my Jawbone really well. From what I remember it has pretty good call quality. I wish I could find it.
Re: MMS?
Thank you. It annoys me to no end how people do not understand this.
Re: Battery life
Have you given it a few good charges? Remember you have to condition the battery.
Re: Common battery life?
Wow. It must be nice being able to get a couple of days on one charge. I am lucky if my battery lasts all day. But we also need to include the main factor which is use. I use 5-6k minutes and 6-7k SMS/MMS a month. So I expect my battery to be dead by the end of the day. This is also on the 8300.

Re: THE CURVE HAS ARRIVED!!!
I have the Curve through at&t and I love it. Can't wait until this phone comes out with Sprint so I can get it and use the GPS. That's my only complaint about the 8300 I have now.
