Re: HTC 8125 or TREO 650...
I am absolutely in love with the 8125.... I would go with that because the features are better it runs faster and has a much better camera :D
Re: Possible Cingular Newbie
I personally like the Nokia 6682 as well as the Cingular 8125. Both get great signal, but I don't live in NC so I cna't tell you for sure that they will work best for you.
Re: Best Newbie Plan
Well you could get $79.98 which would be 900 anytime, unlimited nights and weekends, unlimited mobile to mobile and 3000 text/im/picture/video messages per month. the only thing that differs from one to two years is the price of your handset. :D
Re: Your youngest parent assited contract
Do I count? I have a phone in my daughter's diaper bag... Just a prepaid phone, and she is only 3 months old? :D
Re: No. Cingular is Infested w/ Incompetence
I understand that and agree with that too. I don't know how everything will go since I am gonna be out of my store for six months. But I feel the same. I am not the rule, what most would consider the exception.
Re: No. Cingular is Infested w/ Incompetence
Just to help with this stuff... I work for Cingular and yes at times the customer service can be subpar. But I believe that is the same with every company. You are always going to have people who just don't care about their jobs and it shows. I personally mae sure that I clear up problems at the first visit. If it is something that can't be fixed, then I will follow up until it ...
Re: Beware Cingular (Orange) deceptive practices...
Have no clue :?
Re: Beware Cingular (Orange) deceptive practices...
That was my point entirely... Some customers do also need to take responsibility for researching things as well
Re: Beware Cingular (Orange) deceptive practices...
I understand your point and you are correct I work for Cingular... But it is true in this situation, customers do also need to take responsibility for their puchases. I mean you would no go to a car dealer and tell them to pick any car off the lot, you would do your research... You should do the same kind of research when you are going to sign a contract for a phone, in my opinion.
Re: Trying to find it again
I third that... I really used to enjoy my job and I have been with the company for 5 years... And I lately just don't fell like it anymore... Something has to change from within the company for us to enjoy our jobs again. And I mean change for the better because all the changes over the past two years have all been downhill :(
Re: smart phone question, please help
I believe that you can do that on the "Pocket PC" phones, like the Blue Angel. I do not believe that all of the smart phones offer that.
Re: Beware Cingular (Orange) deceptive practices...
In the terms and conditions of your contract (I know in at the store level there is a packet that we give you with those, I would assume that with telesales or online ordering it is in the Customer Service Summary packet that you get about a week after your phone), it states that nights and weekends are the first to be used, then mobile to mobile, then anytime then rollover. But it still should have been explained ...
Re: Voicemail
or press 33 depending on the area of the country you are in. :D
Re: For other reps...
perfectly stated in my opinion.
Re: For other reps...
I hear you on that... My store is slooted for 5.5 people (5 fulltime reps and 1 one part time). My store only has two full time reps and 1 part time... I feel your pain. I wish there was a way to get away from the OT too.
Re: PTT
Large business would be the first go in my opinion... I see companies coming in my location all the complaining about the "service" on Nextel, not to say the push to talk which comes in handy for the employee to employee communication but the customer to employee was lacking because the customers did not have the direct option... I feel that is where with the right advertising it will blow it out of the water

we already know who the best push to talk company out there is and I don’t think that will entice other subscribers from switching and leaving Nextel to go to another one.
Your kidding right? Most customers have trouble discerning the difference between nation LD and national roaming.
Most people take things at face value. They'll see PTT and relate it to the same service Nextel offeres. All it will take is a lot of good advertising for a ...
Re: Some Facts from the 2nd quarter for Cingular
 (blushing a whole lot) Thank you.
Re: Some Facts from the 2nd quarter for Cingular
Hey! What is so wrong with working in a kiosk...? :x I work in a kiosk. :x
Re: Laptop connect????
Did you know that alot of the phones have a personal email function in them... And then if you are talking about company email you could possibly access it right from your phone... Otherwise, I would probably not chance it... I would not want to say yes it will work and than have it not work (when it comes to tethering).
Re: Laptop connect????
From my understanding you can't... But if they are they could possibly be under the old plans... But the down side with the Media Net versus the Data connect is the speed difference.
Re: Laptop connect????
$79.99 data connect for tethering... $19.99 for strictly handset browsing... And the $39.99 PDA connect is for devices like the TREO 650 or Siemens SX66. Personally me, if I was using the tethering I would get the PC card, rather than using my phone, but that just me. :)
Re: Which Cingular phone has best reception/call quality?
In total aggreance with that. :D
Re: Nokia 6230ens
nope
Re: Attitude Problem
I am happy for you! I hope to be starting up my restaurant soon. :D
Re: Attitude Problem
What kind of business are you trying to start Revan?
Re: No patience for stupidity........
Hourly/salary is more BUT I make a good amount in my commission because I work hard for that... You can't guarantee that you can make other people work as hard as you do. :(
Re: No patience for stupidity........
Yeah, if that was not going to be such a horrendous pay-cut I would. :(
Re: No patience for stupidity........
I want to disappear too... I could do without this store right about now. :(
Re: No patience for stupidity........
Wow... I did not get a gretting like that... I am not feeling the love today
Re: No patience for stupidity........
:D  :D Just think you could be in a store dealing with it face to face where you really have to have will-power to not do something... Because when I get that, I don't have a mute button. :D
Re: 3 mos into contract and...
:(
Re: 3 mos into contract and...
Now there Shawn, let's play nice... And VzW still has text issues, my friend that works for VzW is always sending me messages that come through as duplicates and sometimes even as triplicate. Same thing with Nextel, whenever they send to me they are always, and I mean always, duplicate, not to mention when I send them a message it takes hours to go through.
Re: jackieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
:D everyone should move here and we could have a real quick butt team. :D
Re: jackieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
I am sorry... I heard. I wish I could help... If you want to move to Philly, I know that there are a bunch of stores in the area that are hiring. :D
Re: jackieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Tired... Working... And getting oral surgery...
Re: Any 6230 Help ...???
I personally find the Nokias to be easier to read and be more user friendly... And the fonts should be set to large normally... :D
Re: Serious question for retail sales reps.
I agree... I have learned that without drive you won't amount to anything...
Re: Serious question for retail sales reps.
I did that. I am happy in my choice. The money will be better for you as long as you are willing to work for it. What I have learned in my experience is that the majority of sales reps, that have a customer service background, tend to do well because they have the knowledge of the system and are more willing to help, which at first may seem that your commissions would be effected but ...
Re: Cingular thinks they are above the law.
He was telling you what he thought... I think that we all have told you what should have happened... In my 5 years of experience, I have learned that most people (customers in this case) don't want to hear the truth. You are technially right we can not hold you to a two year contract without a signature, but in order to get your family plan the way that you want it you are going to have to ...
