Reception
Nov 25, 2004, 7:33 PM
in the AT&T forum

Have a few questions on reception. I have an LG L1400 and whenever I go into a store I get either little to none or no reception while in the store. I used to get full bar service on my former provider (not mentioning that company). I'm not knocking Cingular because I love the service that I have received from them since being a customer for 2 weeks now. 1. Could it just be that LG's have lousy reception ...

The camera is nice, the screen is nice, the digits are easy to read, and the video is cute. But, I think hate is predominant, mainly because the menus seem to run deeper and the select (or yes) buttons seem to swap sides willy-nilly - not easy to memorize for clicking without looking - I find ...

Manufacture Phones

Curious, if one buys a phone directly from a manufacture that is hosted by Cingular, could that phone be automatically be used on the Cingular network by the customer simply installing their SIM card from their old phone, or is there something else that has to happen before they can do this? Just curious... :?

Headset Ringer

Does anyone have information on the following phones while driving and wearing a headset: Motorola V400, Motorola V551, Nokia 6230, Samsung e317, and SE T637. For example: you're driving along in your car an incoming call comes through and you hear the ringtone/ringer through your headset). Any help will be greatly appreciated.

My Positive Experience with Customer Service

8) 8) 8) Just called customer service regarding a few questions. 1. Price of insurance. 2. Transferring info from one phone to a new one (sorry if I sound clueless). 3. If activation is charged each time. In addition to the female rep being very nice (and seemed quite knowledgeable) my wait time was less than 60 seconds. But what really got me was when we were about to end our conversation she caught me off guard and wished me a Happy ...

Questions on SIM Card...
Nov 17, 2004, 10:06 AM

First off, I have an LG L1400 flip with a 64K SIM card. Something I have begun to notice is that when I power off and power it back on for like a brief second after the log on screen this message appears: "Message SIM memory full." Is it really full, or is it just allowing the SIM card to register with my phone? I have downloaded a few ringtones, a couple wallpapers and only have 42 contacts in my ...

So I decided to stop in at the Cingular store in Greeneville, TN on my way to work this morning. OMG, they had like a slew of cute, sleek, and working model phones. Hate those plastic non functional models. Now the hard part hits me. ...
