Sprint's service has been excellent. As far as my shipment, everyone makes mistakes. The key is how do you handle the mistake and they took care of it. All you Sprint haters need to stop hating.

This is a no brainer people. What individual that reads this website actually keeps their cell phone more than a year or so anyway. Buy the Tour now. It will probably be at least 8-12 months before a WIFI Sprint or Verizon version comes out. Upgrade again then. I will.

Praise the Lord! I just checked my order and my Tour is on the way for delivery for Friday! Time will tell but I would love to eat my words when this phone shows up tomorrow.

Just got off the phone and they said they have no explanation why some have received their phones that ordered after I did but at this point they have no more Tours and Monday is the first day that a another shipment even arrives. Yea, I called them again this morning and they said I have to be patient and that is it "luck" that others have received theirs and I am still waiting. I ordered the Tour Sunday morning at 7:05 AM along with some other unrelated accessories. I have received all my accessories on Tuesday but the phone still says backordered!

I ordered my Sprint Tour Sunday morning through Telesales and it is still on backorder status. What gives? I wonder can if I can cancel my order and just buy it in the Sprint store? I am so disappointed.

Hi Threeglude, I have to agree that is was a poor move for both Sprint and Verizon to release this Tour without WIFI. Blackberry Bold for Sprint
Rumor has it that Sprint has the Bold on the way. It was originally announced in January that is would be first quarter. Obviously, we are in the second quarter and the hearsay is it may be released this summer.
Does anybody know anything about concrete release dates?

I think that only applies to Sprint Blackberries receiving pictures MMS or E-mailed pictures because Sprint's picture mail on Blackberries still uses the Internet to look at pictures.

Yes, you can input notes, schedules, etc while talking. A Blackberry can do just about anything except scratch your back. I have been with 3 of the four major carriers; AT&T, Verizon and Sprint. All three have their advantages/disadvantages and you must make your decision based on where you will be located say 90% of your time especially if you travel out of the country. Make sure you have the backlight timeout set at the maximum of two minutes and your backlight brightness set at your favorite maximum. In addition to the other setting you already mentioned, that works for me.

Hi Phone Chick. Nice try, but when I tried it to a Verizon buddy it came back undeliverable.
Sprint really needs to work this out. It is my only real complaint with them and they seem to not give a crap about working it out.

Weird man. I have the Sprint Curve. When I was using the Pearl, one day I just saw the delete button literally disappear when looking at the menu. It never came back. I have the Curve now and can only delete "pictures" when the device is connected to the computer, however videos delete fine from the card. Go figure? I have not encountered media not saving to the designated place.

This Sprint bashing is starting to get old. I was with Verizon since the Bell Atlantic Days but got tired of having to call up every month and get my blood pressure up to near stroke levels trying clear up a screwed up bill and then I was always starting over like I had never called the previous month on the next cycle! Now Verizon has good coverage but they also have quite a few drop zones too ...
Can't Delete Pictures from Media Card on Sprint Curve
Does anyone have this issue? I had it with the Pearl and now with the Curve. The Option to delete is missing when you are viewing pictures on the media card. What gives?

I am Sprint Customer. It's Funny. Sometimes I can respond to a text message that comes in while on a phone conversation and sometimes and I cannot. Weird. I cannot send one while talking though. Sucks.

I totally agree. They should have MMS, but my point is Verizon isnt perfect either. TV isn't important to you but to the next person it might be. Anyway you look at it, it is a cool feature that Verizon doesn't offer on the Curve. I switched from Verizon to Sprint over three years ago because of constant billing issues. In your menu, go to voice dialing and adjust your settings. I had a similar issue until I changed the sensitivity to -3 reject less, Name Playback Speed, 3 (Faster). Try that, it worked for me.

Sprint Curve is up and running
Got the Sprint Curve up today at my lumch break. Looks Slick! Although I enjoyed it since February.....Bye Bye Pearl. Pocket Express has replaced On Demand. They have added something call Facebook and more instant messaging software.
