You need to download the operating software for the BB, not the DM. Once you download the software install it on the BB then you will be able to load the apps.
Asa far as memoery pull the battery with the BB powered on and your memory will go back up.

You can not install O.T.A. Apps. using Opera Mini, you need the BB browser.

Most likely they are deleting because your memory is down. a battery pull with the BB powered on will fix this.

There are know issues with DM 4.3, it's not VZW fault. Your best bet is to download and use DM 4.2.2 it works great and no problems.

You won't mess anything up just download the high memory version I have used it with several different BB's and have not had a problem.

Thats your data going back and forth "the BB is working" if data is off you will not get a signal and won't be able to use internet, email or the phone.

The reset program is great for a reset but your BB should not be locking up, you should exchange it for a new one.

If you have changed any setting in the browser reset them in the options menu and I have Opera mini 4 and it works very well, but when you open links in your email it will take you to the BB browser.

No programs on the card, you need the software for the BB to load programs from the desktop which is on Verizon's site and the backlight it white and very easy to read.

No you just have to keep an eye on the memory, the norm is about 10megs try not to let it go below that.

Nothing is stored on the memory card except, pics, videos, ringtones, music and voice notes. Just pull the battery once every two weeks or so and you should be ok.

I happens with the newer BB's but if you take the battery off about once or twice a month you will be ok. It will not keep you from getting anything it might erase some old call logs and text messages though.
