ok so does anyone know what format this phone reads? and also any good converters/players out there? I have everything else now if I can transfer some of my AVI files to it I am all set! Thanks in advance!

I spend a good 5 hours doing all of this and here is how to do it...... plug the phone into computer, now on the phone the SD card will not show up nor will any information for the card WHILE IT IS PLUGGED INTO THE COMPUTER....Find your memory card on the computer by looking for the 14.x drive (Mines was K) and the internal was L....for pictures open the drive and make a "my pictures" folder...drag and drop what ...

I tried just to MMS mp3's to the phone I get them but they are distorted as H#%%...I did purchase mobile handset manager...I am hoping this will solve the problem..I have searched the forum and nothing really address this other then..turn down the volume...put my SMT5600 with 256mb doesn't have this problem...is PC to phone transferr better?? DOes anyone know how to clear up distortion..I use Wavepad to trim up everything, tried cutting bit rates, even reduced the gain ...

Hello all...I reluctantly switched to Cingular and got the Razr V3 black..I left my SMT 5600 because of poor reception...but of course when I get home the razr isn't any better..now they say...ummm looks like some network problems in your area..of course yesterday they were positive it was my phone...anyway back to point..the SMT5600 is tottally customizable, screens sounds etc...I am thinking about keeping the Razr V3..I know about handset manager..but could someone list some links to other sites ...

Every so often my default At&T networks pops back up..is there any way to lock the networks?? I switched to manual selection to see if this would work.

Verizon and teh "brew" have been very frustrating at best, because of the disabiling of features and bluetooth functions, I switched from Verizon to AT&T. Was I happy to do so?? NO but because of the idiots at Verizon who want to control everything on their phones I switched and also dropped 4 other accounts from our bussiness because of this. WOW after reading all the forums and trying everything outside of unlocking the phone and installing the cingular chip..I think this is working finally. I was getting very poor receptions at my house and dropping calls all the time..the bars would go from 4 to none then back to 5...I switched and it jumped to 4 and has not fluxuated since. I really just want to say THANKS for such a simple answer and step to correct this problem...now ...

Tha is not totally true...I have Homescreen designer..which you can get for a free trial..it has a missed calls plug in that will display a different screen all together..so when I miss a call I know about it and how many I missed..then just select the display button and it shows the numbers called. So you don't have to worry about hitting abutton to SEE if you missed a call mine displays a Missed Calls screen. Hope that helps

For some reason when I held the down volume key it just beeped Talking with AT&T techs, I just had to re-record all my voice tags and it seems to work now. They had no explanation for the problem.

I.ve gotten most of all the tweaks and everything but for the life of me I can not figure out the voice dialing...how do you do this? Thanks in advance support our troops not the politics.

A few things..when watching a full movie..over 1 hour there are two things I did.. Go to settings go to homescreen set timeout to Never..then settings..more..power management and set backlight time to never. Just remember to turn it off after you watch what ever. I watched tomb raider beginning to end with no backlight problems.

If you are with in your 30 days trade it in and pray they still have a few Smt 5600 around, reading the forums all the problems do not exist with the 5600. Unless you really just have to have that thin phone that looks great but otherwise just another phone, if you want something to entertain and actually double as a decent work connector...trade it in..get the 5600.

OK I worked like 2 days on this but it does work. Step 1 download the song you want, suggest walmart.com/music.it is free clips. step 2 if needed trim the file with audacity to about 15-20 sec. step 3 open file in Freerip. step 4 turn all setting in free rip to mono and lowest bitrate. step 5 save file as mp3. step 6 open control panel on your computer and go to file. actually rename file from songname.mp3 to songname.mid step 7 email to ######@vzwpix.com ...

Mp3 Ringtones?Verizon users only plz.

OK I know this will be the same question as asked before..but, I asked a verizon sales person how to dl mp3's they didn't know..then I emailed Moto..they said the function was disabled by carrier. The whole point is this...can you play Mp3's as ringtones, and do they lag or play default ringtones first? Any inside would help finalize my choice. Thanks

My wife just got the 9900 it is great and everything, but we love ringtones/wallpapers, after searching for hours to see some really great things, it always shows no support for Verizon. Could some one please link some good ringtone/wallpaper sites? That support both the 9900 and Verizon? Besides all the get it now crap? Thanks in advance

Where and how can you get Mp3 ringers?? I have verizon it seems they block alot of fun stuff so you have to go to "get it Now" Any help would tickle my wife. Thanks
