I followed the MP3 ringtone post on here, put my file down below 350kb(300 to be exact) tried sending it to my phone with 10digitnumber@vzwpix.com My phone didn't even recognize it or say it was receiving the file(i've done this countless times before but it's not working now) Any reason i probably dont know about?

Sounds like it will just bluetooth could be an issue otherwise. And the speakerphone has to be bugged(headset in the phone and plug it out) to work with the phone closed.

btw i've already enabled mp3s by... by pressing menu/0 7times/go to music setting and enable. Just trying to get the ringtones into the mp3 playlist.

Trying to get the mp3s i sent via email over to my mp3 list so i can play it on the outside, help me out:) thx.. been trying to mess with it and figure it out but cant. :evil:

When i change it, it doesn't change it to a .mid file im guessing has something to do with my computer settings. Instead of changing the files it puts it in the name "wherethecashat" mp3 i put .mid "wherethecashat.mid" mp3 instead of changing it to a .mid

Does verizon support this? Btw i just upgraded from a Audiovox cdm-9900 to the LGvx8300 instead of the chocolate(had to say it). But i mean if someone calls me instead of hearing the dial ringer, they can hear maybe a ringtone or song? Thanks 8)

My contract expires in June i believe so now is the time for me to be looking for a new phone. Right now i have the Audiovox CDM-9900 ive pimped it out with all the custom ringtones i've sent with the phone and games and whatnot. Yea wanted to get her the Sony Ericcson V500(i think thats the phone) cause cingular has a 50$ deal on it. So i need to know if he Motorola V500 is a GSM phone?I know it is. So all i must do is buy the SEV500 and replace the battery? I'm phone illiterate just to let all of you know lol.

Well i sent the ringers i wanted and changed it to a .mid file and everything the way instructed by howardforums.com, BUT once i received it, i never got the option to save it as a ringer, nor when i played it heard the song. Any idea why or anyone went through this and got the solution?

:D Well hopefully they got stock so they can ship my phone.But anyways... People say the speakerphone has to be open when u talk into it, and that it can't be closed, is this true? And if so can you get the leather case and close it and it works fine?

:o Well, ida no but on www.vzw.com, phones, it now doesn't say it's out of stock. Shipment came yesterday maybe that a rep was telling me?

But the thing is, i ordered is October 10th right before the deal ended, which means they should've had a copy opf the phone for me. The REP didn't even process my order, she was waiting on my phone to come to them first then send the audiovox and that is not even what we agreed on, we agreed to the audiovox coming to me so i am not without the phone and then i sent my samsung sch650. ...
