The light sensor seems to do the same on mine. Too bad they didn't give us the option to shortcut that PTT button to something else.

My #5 is depressed slightly, I think this is normal since it is the center key. My numbers aren't evenly lit either, but it seems as if my top row (#'s 123 are the brightest).
One last question...
Can you change the PTT button to do something besides go straight to the music player or is that a default that can't be set if you don't use PTT?
Adventure V750 Keypad
I recently bought a V750 and upon close inspection of the interior keypad I noticed some small strange indentions above the right soft key. They're not very deep or noticeable but I just wondered, is this normal or just a manufacturing defect?
I spoke too soon.
I only had my W385 for less then two weeks. It's down for the count, won't boot-up anymore. It powered off from low battery and has yet to launch the UI.

Today, Monday @ 11:35 am battery signal is blinking. It hasn't died yet!
Does anyone know how to access the service screen on this phone? It's my first Motorola.

I've gotten pretty good life. My initial charge after activation yielded approximately 2 days of use. Not too heavy on talking time but I would say I sent a couple hundred text messages and played around on the menu a long time (hour combined?). I also played a game around 30 min. It never died, I just ended up charging it after I got the flashing icon.

Sounds better and better ... But I still wonder how this will all play out. Does anyone have specs on the size/colors or any general links besides the back of the phone? And also, I don't recall ever hearing if it were going to be dual or tri-mode. Will it be a nice chunk of change? And finally will be get it from Casio or Hitachi or just Verizon? I don't follow. I guess I am asking more of a general question pertaining to the new user interface and it's ring-tone selection. Will all phones wearing the new UI have the same ring-tones?
