Coming soon to Verizon Wireless in Black! This coming from a reliable source. Verizon info manager for indirect agents..I may haft to ditch my 620 for the black one.

Verizon still has the biggest network. Cingular is bigger due to customers. However, Verizon just realased new customer numbers of 42.1 million. Up 2.1 million from last quarter. Out here in the West they are sparce and will not make much of an impact.

My understanding is that the get it now feature will only work in an enhanced service area, which is not extended network. Where on the webstite did you read that?

Battery life is all depending on how you use the phone. I usually charge it every 2 days. There is nothing wrong with charging it every night either. I have yet to use a color screen phone that has a better battery life, certainly not the samsung a670 :x

Nice choice. The screen on this phone is phenominal. The whole megapixel camera is highly overated. Look at the 710. The 9900's camera is 10 times better. Plus, Verizon's network doesnt support sending of megapixel pictures. So what is the point? Honestly, I have seen the 8000 in person and played around with it. It it HUGE! Long and thick. I would say why wait for the 8000 unless you are going to use it for its main purpose, ...
