I was told I ma being provided a "smart phone" with email access. What are the chances I'll be getting a Storm? If not, then will I be bale to buy one and use it on the account they are giving me? As an Assistant Manager will they let me work overtime, or are they like my current job and won't let you get over 45 hrs? Thanks for the responses.... I just don't have anyone to ask here b/c ...

I was just hired on with VZ (ASM) and in my area we will be switching from Alltel to VZW very soon. My orientation is mid May... but my question is this: What is the dress code for your corp stores? Black slacks? Do you guys have polos, or are they button ups? All info is appreciated... JW

My original face to face interview went quite well.... the secondary interview with the DM of sales lasted a tad over a hour. It went very good.... He didn't ask me those stupid "give me a situation were you did this" questions. The questions were more directly related to business. He asked a few questions that would trip up the novice interviewee (is that even a word?) But he even commented I did good... An hour later I was ...

They said "We were really impressed with you in the 1st round of interviews". Now I have a confrence call with the DM and a few other people. The manager said to watch out for his aggressive nature. I told him I figured this was going to be the "see if we can break him" part of the interviews. He laughed and said I would be fine..... I guess we'll see on Thursday morning. Justin

I have an interview for an ASM position. I was wondering what ASMs typically make per year. They did tell me it was a 75%/25% (salary/comm) blend. They told me what the salary "starts" at. However they did say it would go up with expierence. I have 7 total years in the wireless business (3 of which I owned a chain of indirects)... So anyone have any clue what they might start me out at? Anyone have any input as ...

just tried it.... yes it works .. it opens up in a video program similar to wimdows meda player... the 8900 supports video streaming on Orb as well

just forward your Comcast email to you@gmail.com then sign into gmail from a PC and you can set it up to "Send As"... Which will send email as you@comcast So when someone gets an email they see you@comcast. When they reply it will goto you@comcast, then instantly get forwarded to you@gmail...thus instantly coming on your G1 phone.

I don't know if you can do this or not.... depends on your work. Creat a gmail account. Forward your work email to myaccount@gmail.com You can set up your Gmail to "send email as" you@yourbiz.com This why you get all your emails pushed to your device, and they look like the are coming from your biz email. Are you direct or indirect... and it has been a while but I beleive there are different plans. But back in the day when I was in the game the plans were complete and utter S%!*...lol anywho... contact your indirect area rep.

You will need to speak to your indirect area rep. They will have a form you have to fill out. It's been a while since I was in that same position, but from what I remember their indirect delaer plans are crap.

That would be the case if they were some joe schmoe indirect dealer. We are talking about a national retailer account. i.e. Wal-Mart. Neither Wal-Mart or Best Buy makes you sign such agreements. Cheers! Justin

Best Buy has gotten rid of mail in rebates... everything is instant... so expect them to have the best pricing on the G1 for a new activation. I got a BB Curve there a month ago for 50 bucks total on a new activation. That was when Tmo corp wanted 249 for the darn thing with a 100 MIR. Cheers! Justin

What Rob said was right on.... You can activate it now.... try it... then call into customer care to port your number. It's free... You definately don't want to port, then try to undo the port.... That is a big hassel. If you do cancel you will only pay for the days you used it. Your activation fee will be credited back to you. Cheers! Justin

Actually I will forwatd myname@mybiz.com to my Gmail address.... then in my Gmail settings I will set the "From" or "Reply To" to myname@mybiz.com ...then wallah I'm all set. :D Also.... it's not 179 or full price.... Full price is 399. T-Mobile has a partial discount program if you aren't eligable for the full discount. Mine was 299 + upgrae fee + tax. Later, Justin

I too use a BB, in fact I use a Curve. The decidig factor that made me jump for this phone was the OTA sync of contacts, calander, etc. It's cool that when you add a contact on your G1 it automatically puts it in your Gamil contacts. But yes.. the reason you and I paid 299 was becuase we aren't eligable for the "full discount" only partial. From what I have seen, the G1 will be slightly better than the ...

This is why you make backup copies of backup copies. I learned this the hard way when my term paper in college was lost when the floppy got corrupted. It may be a glitch and the files may still be there... but I always keep a folder on my desktop at work and home with our website files on there...... just incase..... thats all going to depend on your conection.... so there is no real answer at this moment because I doubt anyone has tried to max it out. I can tell you this ..... my mother-in-law has 5gb of data then her connection gets shut off. she calls over UMA probably 1000 mins a month plus surfs regulary and still doesnt use 5gb of data.

You are telling me that because I divulge T-mobile's policy on moving outside the coverage area, that customers don't get service from customer care? Isn't that Customer Care's job....to provide service..... so how ...or why... would T-Mobile's policy disrupt you from doing your job and providing customer service? Hell if your so pissed about it.... have T-Mo change their policies. You sir are ridiculous... :D

well... kind of... If you upgraded less than 14 days ago you can have customer care cancel the upgrade just as you would a new activation in the 14 day trial period. Then when they fix your contract date... port away with no ETF. I host www.MyMobileWeekly.Com I have tips like these as with others... alsong with the reviews for the best deals on T-MO phones.
