The expanded coverage of the new Cingular has nearly all of the competitors engaged in a very stiff price war indeed. Don't do it unless you are prepared to have service with inferior networks.

No it's cuz some of them (CDMA) are Li-Ion and the GSM phones use Li-Polymer.

That's why having an upgrade is a good thing so Customers can upgrade only after 1 year.

The GSM equivalant (or better) to the v710 would be the MPx220. It's also quad band so works more less around the whole world.

Been here for 6 months and using this forum for about half the time. Just got off another call where someone at the store programmed a Moto V60i with the wrong phone # then it turned out the phone could not pick up a signal after all.. Talk about the perfect FU on behalf of AT&T heh? 8O

Right now it's 10:20 MCT in Alberta. Now I just came back with a meeting from the Big Cheese. Gave us an "Xperience xcellence" sheet with like a gazillion new ways we gotta kiss our customer's asses. When are they gonna realize customers like to talk to someone who sounds real not someone who sounds like they have a cell tower up their own a**. :P

Not in accordance with corporate policy. :wink: I like these forums it's good to vent in cyberpace sometimes and keep all the VZW fiends from cluttering this mo****ka with all their rubbish and misinformation. It's also a good place to ask questions and get helpful information so we could all do better at our jobs. The list of phones and full glossary of terms is also what really rounds out ...

One thing I heard from a customer don't take my word for it but apparently AT&T customers on an AT&T GSM rate plan have been able to use Cingular GSM towers for about two months now but anyone on a Cingular rate plan w/ Cingular already has to wait to use the AT&T towers because it could take up to 2 year to update them fully to Cingular towers. These towers will progressively become available to Cingular customers as they ...
