Nope. I pre-ordered mine at Target since I get the 5% discount (hey why not) with the Target Debit Card. I called Verizon to check about losing my plan, and they said since the system shows I pre-ordered before June 28th, I get grandfathered in regardless when I actually get the new Galaxy 3.
