you are correct...US uses 1900. There are a few places where you may get lucky as there are a few places in US that uses 850 but very rare. the 850/2100 is set for Australia 3G.

No 3G will not work in US....only in Australia.

My bluetooth dongle software and Nokia's PC Suite lets me copy/paste files straight to MMC.

Thanks for the 411. I'm hoping that this phone is a resurrection of the old T270C in terms of performance and build with no thrills. I've tried all the new ones (i.e. V710 etc..) and end up back w/ the 270c.

If they cashed your check...to me that means they "processed" it. At the time your check was cashed, your account to have been brought up to-date. Call Verizon and ask to talk to a supervisor to resolve.
