I am not sure why really :)

Sorry that I cant help but it is a normal function.
Re: Software Update?

Thanks very much
Re: Speakerphone Volume?
Great :)
Thanks for the reply
Speakerphone Volume?
Hi everyone,
I just have a quick question for anyone who has this phone, how is the speakerphone volume? Has anyone tried using it in a moving car? Is it loud enough for that?
I appreciate any feedback, thanks.
Re: which phone to buy....motorola v265 or the v710
I do not have the v710, but I belive transflash refers to a type of removable memory media. You can use it to add more memory to your phone for mp3s, photos etc.
Re: Is it ok to get this?
Thanks both :)
I guess my concern is that if I buy it it might not work because of the problems with the 850 band reported...but it seems like a rare problem so it's porblay ok.
Thanks again.
Re: Is it ok to get this?
Hey,thanks angel22 :)
Any other opinions are also welcome.
Is it ok to get this?
Hi,
Awhile back I heard snippets on some mobile sites (like phone scoop) that the v600 was being discountinued from Cingular because of some technical problem/s.
I am sure everyone here knows this already but being that I don't have the phone I never really got it. I would like to know, could someone just give me a brief description of what the problem was?
I am interested in knowing because I am thinking of buying this phone if I can ...
Size?
Hi,
Does anyone know what the correct size of this phone is?
According to this site (phone scoop):
Thr v600 is:
3.46" x 1.85" x 0.91"
And the v620 is:
3.46" x 1.85" x 0.94"
I am wondering if this is correct? Is the v620 a bit thicker then the v600?
To further add to the confusion, on Motorola (http://commerce.motorola.com/consumer/QWhtml /phone_comp.html) it shows the size as:
3.5 x 1.87 x 0.83 in.
If anyone knows the real size please let me know. I know it;s a small differeance but I ...
Re: Simple coverage question
Thanks for the answer.
I guess thats why the map looked a bit more filled in then I remember it last.
Would you know if the regional maps (for me, NYC area) also updated to show the merger?
Re: Increased coverage with more bands?
Thanks for that great post Disturbed1! It was very clear and informative. I think I understand now. And thank you Kimley and tnyflrs too!
Re: Increased coverage with more bands?
Actually I guess what I am asking is what banda are avialbe for use in the USA, and what are only going to give me recpetion in other countries.
I think I can find the phones myself here on phonescoop.
Sorry to pester so much again I really am thankful :) you would be teh first to explain this to me.
Re: Increased coverage with more bands?
Hi,
Thanks for the replies.
Honestly I don't know much about the GSM bands, would you be able to tell me some quad band phones?
And might that improve my reception even more :) or does it just allow me to go to europe and such.
Thanks so much for your help.
Simple coverage question
Hello,
Please forgive me if someone asked this already but I can't seem to find an answer. I am hoping one of the awesome Cingular Deity's that frequent this forum will be able to tell me :)
Like everyone else by now I know about the upcoming merger of Cingular and ATT wireless. Based on the ads alone Cingular seems to be saying that existing customers will get more reception in more areas.
My question is, does anyone have some sort of ...
Re: Increased coverage with more bands?
Hi,
Thanks for the info, sounds great.
I live in New York, on western long island (about 10 minutes from JFK airport). Would you or anyone esle happen to know about the towers in that area, if I would get more receiptopn if I got a dual/tri band phone?
Thanks again for your help.
Increased coverage with more bands?
Hi,
I have a Motorola V70 on Cingular, which is a single band phone (GSM-1900). If I were to upgrade to a dual or tri-band GSM phone, would my coverage/reception increase?
I guess my question hinges on whether Cingular's towers are all tri band or some omit GSM-1900.
Any information anyone could give me would be most appreciated, thank you.
SAR level?
Would anyone know the SAR level for this phone? Or would I have to wait till it's released to find that out :)
Re: 2 simple questions
Hi,
Thanks for all the info/advice everyone.
The compare chart was nice, thank you. It says the v265 is a tiny bit thinner; I didn't know that. But like you mentioned it's overall bigger and heaver a bit. Shouldn't be too much of a problem though...
The screen looks kinda small on the v265....and the v810 has around double the standby time.
No phone is perfect though, so I will most likely get the v265 because it is closest to what I want.

Re: 2 simple questions
Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I know, it is a lot of money :( if I really wanted to I could get it but it might not be worth it as you say.
I am really drawn to the phones size, color screen, cam, etc. But maybe I will wait, and see if they come out with the v265 by the end of the year. Hopefully it won't be much bigger then the v810 and have similar featuers.
I am kind of ...
2 simple questions
Hello eveyone,
I am new to this forum and if someone can answer me these questions I would apprecoate it very much.
I've been following the v810 for a while already, and have read most of the posts here on it. You all seem to be saying that it is not coming to Verizon and this sadly seems true. However I do see that is has been recently released for U.S. Cellular.
My main question is, on the Motorola website you can ...
