Yet ANOTHER phone Sprint customers will never see....
Nov 1, 2007, 7:12 AM
in the LG Voyager VX-10000 forum

Phone looks pretty cool, im on the fence on the keyboard but its still nice. the menu looks pretty clean and the colors look vibrant. id really like to see phones like this on sprint. for some reason they seem to be doing pda phones for their cdma network and the whole nextel thing seems to be seriously distracting them from the ultimate goal, making customers happy with their phones.

i agree it would be nice to have the keyboard but its pretty obvious this phone is intended to compete directly with the iphone. although i noticed it doesn't have wifi which surprises me when the mogul has it and in order to compete with the iphone HTC needs to make sure their checking the right boxes in a comparison. i was able to play with a friends iphone and its pretty cool. if i was an apple junkie ...

anything new on the Samsung A900m?
Jul 27, 2006, 8:00 AM
in the Rumor Mill forum

ive been trying to keep up on any new info thru phonescoop, sprintusers, google, customer service, retention, etc. its just like some phreakin well kept secret to me. has anyone heard anything new or definate on what updates the phone will have and when it will be released? ive heard July, August and September. hoping they will fix the battery life issue (that really isnt that huge), signal strength problem (my a800 gets better than the a900), a TF ...

hey man, its almost the end of july and no go on the phones yet. this happened about a year ago with the A800 phone, took them forever to release it. im curious about the a900m, do you have any updated info?

im going to have to agree with big poppa, it seems stupid and a waiste of money to release with only a software update. hopefully something will turn up in the upcoming week. im pretty amazed how hush this whole thing has been kept. seems like i had much more info on the a800 and some other phones released a year ago alot sooner. i know some a900 users, hopefully they can swap out their a900 for the a900m ...

man i hope not, i was thinking of plastic peices, after re reading the post, i realize themese, DUH, blah, seems stupid to revamp a phone for only that. other forums have talked to samsung reps and sprint reps saying there would be a TF slot, so i dont know. if all they do is add themes, thats stupid. theres legit probs with the handset that need to be addressed, i noticed that my a800 gets better reception than ...

ive heard there will be a TF (trans flash) slot on the newer model, possibly a diff charging port, and some fixes to the batt life and lag on the display. im not saying its fact, but in my opinion, it would be stupid to discontinue the original a900 just so you can come out with another model that will have a peice of plastic you can change on it.

in the Article: Sprint Sends Texts To Landline Phones forum

I just saw the post for the free txt to landline. I gave it a try and was bothered by a response i recieved from the sprint network saying that "standard text messaging rates apply". i thought, "what rates?! to a free service?!" i have unlimited text messageing, so i wanted to know the deal on the fees. customer service said the fee didnt apply to me, but to the landline customer. i brought up my aurgument that charging ...

in the Article: Sprint Nextel Launch Unified LBS Application forum

Sprint just doesnt get it. I agree with the second post and find their ideas very interesting with the advertising and ranking. i didnt think of that. Im tired of sprint thinking they have to charge for every single service. they would keep more people and attract more people if instead they said: "Hey, we have figured out how to use the GPS in the phone so when your looking for Ruby Tuesdays in another state, it will automatically ...

in the Article: Sprint Nextel Offers Unlimited Calls To Landline Number forum

ive been an avid sprint customer for years, for the longest time sprint has had the coolest phones, within the past year that has changed drastically as other carriers have started carrying cooler phones. sprint also had the best plans (in my opinion), i base that on all calling plans being nationwide (after having the stupid area calling plans). well, its got to the place where every little thing sprint likes to charge you for. they are $5 us ...

i like this phone, but a few things id like to see are a bigger screen, bluetooth that you could turn off and on would be a nice bonus, perhaps evdo capability (currently im satisfied without it), basically a few more of the luxuries you find in the upper class phones. this is a great looking phone, i like the grey color. the screen size is my main gripe on it. would be nice to see some upgrades to ...

Re: The world does not need more slider phones

in the LG MM-535 forum

sliders are pretty slick. their nice phones and alot easier to open then the clamshell phones. ive played with the lg 325, 535 and samsung a800, the 325 isnt the type of slider id want personally. the 535 and a800 are great. one handed operation is easy. the slides are smooth and nearly effortless. although the samsung doesnt move as easily. for anyone who doesnt like the sliders, their option is the sanyo 5600, also a great phone. everyone ...

im sorry, but i just dont see how one little thing like only taking a 15 second clip can make a phone suck. if you want a camcorder, go buy one. what hurts the phone a little is that it doesnt come with a mini sd card or usb cable. what i consider to be its main rivals, the 5600 and a800 do come with both. so thats disappointing. other than that, i was very pleased with the phone ...

now the trans cards are maxed at 512 for right now, but you can get a 1gig mini sd card that all 3 phones can use. a friend of mine has a 1gig in his 5600, soon as their avalible again, im gettin one for the 535 i have, and my bro is going to prob pop for the 1gig mini sd for his a800 until the 1gig trans card comes out, just wanted to inject that, the 1gig ...

did anyone else notice that the 4th picture isnt the same 535? the 4th almost looks similar to the 545 in that it doesnt have the line of blue keys down the center. or is that just the way telus's phones are made?

i went by the store yesterday, they wont have the 535 in till later this month. i guess that means around about thurs or fri. i called telesales and they said the phone isnt avalible yet. the lady gave me her supers # to get back up with her to order it later in the week.

in the LG MM-535 forum

i think the whole point is, is that any given phone has only so much local memory. the lg has more than most. the media card you can add (up to 1gig) gives you the memory to take longer video. so it doesnt matter really. compare other features. i dont know of any other phone that does more than 30sec of video w/o help from an external memory card.

really though, look at the 5600, it was supposed to be out last september. its only been out for about a month now. it really disappoints me because im trying to wait for these new phones to make my decision on which one to buy. my current lg is about shot. well, mondays somedays suck, this will give us all something to hopefully look twords this monday. make the day a little brighter if it actually releases. hope it ...

my brothers sanyo 8100 is broke and he has to replace it, broke at the hinge, another friend of mine has a red 8200 and it broke on the hinge, a girl i work with her front lcd is out, she has an 8200, and a guy i work with had to get his replaced for the same reason and was told by sprint they were having problems with the 8200 front lcd screen. a sprint sales rep said ...

it looks pretty cool, i thought it was supposed to have a megapixel also. is it truely going to be 'rugged' though? all the sanyos ive seen have been frail except for the 4500 i got last christmas, although its been taken good care of. wish sanyo would stop being so cheap and give us a decent base charger with the cell, i bought a base charger and all i got was a base and no power adapter, i ...

yeah, i have the same software. it works fine, http://futuredial.com/matrix/M_home.htm you can pick your cell OR your carrier and it will tell you what their software can do for your cell. i cant back up my current ringers, which sux, i figure sprint has the ability to do it. they should be able to pull anything off the cell. i just dont think their doing it, prob because everyone would flood the tech serv dept. futuredial does work, and ...

styling doesnt seem to be key on this more rugidized looking series of the sanyo phones. im waiting for this phone and the 5600 to come out so i can see which one i want. i really want to get a sanyo being they seem to get the best reception, but im about to lean twords another lg or perhaps another brand, i had the a700 for bout a week and a half testing it out to see if ...

talked to sanyo, i think they play it real dumb, dont know how they can not know about the new phones coming out BUT we know about it on here. i could be wrong. i asked about the cradle, they said from the track record, expect dang travel chargers again. man, i just feel a lil ripped. for $400, give me a dang cradle. dont be so cheap. samsung and lg seem to have the right idea. sanyo has ...

i hope the new cells come with the cradles instead of the dang travel charger. that cradle for the 4500 is $80, THATS CRAZY. my lg came with a cradle and the samsung comes with a cradle, nice thing about the a700 cradle is that it has a slot for an extra battery. nice. almost kept the a700 for that reason among a few others. i want sanyo though. if they dont ship cradles though i might just go ...

on a seriouse note, im dissapointed in how crapy the insurance is getting, its 3rd party now. they dont tell you what your getting, you dont have the option to pay more to upgrade to a better phone. they want your old one EVEN IF you had to pay FULL PRICE for it. blah, everytime im in the store i tell them im dissapointed in that fact. hopefully they will change back.

being that its replacing the 4500, i agree, i actually kinda like the colored light on the top, and the dark blue color is nice, im hoping the image is just an idea and not going to be the actual phone, if the 7400 does have a 1meg cam, ill prob get it, it looks cool
